I'm an energetic, passionate woman in Jonesboro Ark with a 27 yr old son and 5 yr old grandson in Ireland. I'm a morning person, who seeks mental and physical challenges daily. Nicknamed "George" due to my curiosity, I'm always attempting a new feat just to see if I can do it. Most often I CAN. Occasionally I'm forced to acknowledge my limitations or re-evaluate my strategies.

I spend most of my time gardening. My entire yard is a botanical garden. I have no lawn, just trails thru the flowers. I used to have two black thumbs, so I'm as amazed as anyone else that my gardens thrive so beautifully. I even grow my own veggies. There's nothing like popping a grape tomato in your mouth when it's still warm from the sun. Mmmmmmm!

I also volunteer with a charitable organization, helping organize fundraisers and working in our medicine assistance program where we help people get the medications they need for free if they can't afford them. I love that I'm giving back to the community in this way. People are so grateful when they don't have to choose between buying food or buying medication. Some of the stories we hear are heart-breaking.
