I like to meet people who have interesting stories to tell. I was raised in the midwest, lived in California past 35 yrs. Soon to retire from nursing. Ok. I'm not sure what makes me 'a great partner' as they ask here, but I will say a little bit about myself. I moved to San Jose five years ago and since that time, i have not had much of a social life since I work 8 to 5 every day, for which I am thankful. I think when you reach a certain age, friends are hard to find. I love my cat, my kids and my grandkids. I like to vacation in Mexico, Hawaii - anywhere warm. I am definitely a summer person.

What makes me tick, well I love the outdoors and anything and everything that goes with it.
Biking, Hiking, Walking, Golfing, you probably get the picture. I also enjoy evenings out, dinner, movies, exploring, and of course.......number 1 is trying to find someone to enjoy all this, with the right person!

Im confident and clear on who I am. I have tremendous introspection and fairly analytical. I am active and athletic with good work ethics.I dont like being late. I love a good meal with a nice glass of wine. I watch movies to unwind and read history and philosophy books to expand my knowledge. I love politics and a good argument to go with it. I have two young children who are depending on me to show them an example of how to be a strong, kind, loving person who loves God but is not a victim. Since I teach part time I also read books continually on history, politics, philosophy, apologetics and the like. I often debate high school and college youths on their belief systems and how to affirm them.

Spiritually oriented health care professional. Grew up in a close Italian family. Eat healthy, active, love outdoor activities, theater, movies, art, national league baseball (giants/Phillies). Live a simple life. Not particularly interested in making money as a goal although I am financially secure. As the saying goes, "He who dies with the most toys is still dead." Learned there are things more important than bucks, like people, friends, nature, God. Have a strong faith, but I am not dogmatic/doctrinal in beliefs. More concerned with being love in action.

Honest communication is most important, the ability to communicate needs without drama. The name Daiseyhot is just a name I picked when I ran out of ideas for names. Every name I entered was already in use it seemed. I agree some of these names are ridiculous.

I like to travel, speak in different languages, talk about history, politics. I also swim and play some tennis. I am an independent person used to taking care of myself, but who is social, though a bit on the shy side.
