I am a SBM, 66, 5'10", 190, bald(shaved, and I have blue eyes, yes, that's right, blue eyes. I am retired Air Force having spent 25 years in that service. I have traveled extensively especially in Asia. Off an on I spent 16 years there including wartime tours in Korea and Vietnam. I was married to a lady from Japan for 30 years until she passed 13 years ago from cancer. I have 6 childen 4 of which I've had to raise(boys) by myself since my wife passed. I've been called by the classic term "Mr Mom" since there are few single fathers and fewer single black fathers. I guess I burst the steriotype bubble. I consider myself a very caring person that does not like to dictate but listen reflectively and offer suggestions and/or soliicit suggestions/advice to come to decisions. Otherwords, a 50-50 proposition. I am laid back especially at this age. I like to walk 3 miles around a lake that's nearby whenever I can and use the steam room at the rec center in Commerce City and participate in some of their senior activities. I hve one son living at home who is a full-time student at CU Denver and the rest of my kids are Army, Navy, Colorado National Guaard(full time), legal profession etc. My family is a hugging family. Im in a unique position as a PBX operator at a Denver Medical Center that allows me to really help people in many different ways.! For instance when a baby is born the nurses call me and I get to push a button that plays Brahms lulabye. I gravitate towards the outdoors and enjoy exploring new places. I am of Irish descent, left handed and still have a few strands of red hair on my head.. .. Originally from Long Island New York, I attended the Univ. of New Mexico. Sports & gambling are of no real interest to me, I'd rather work around the house or yard makeing my home a pleasent place to be. This interests me more then being a couch potato on weekends trying to re live my youth in something I'll never participate in. Athough an occasional Rockies game is always fun.

I'm a history buff, an artist and a healthcare provider. I have taken care of a man with disabilities for 21 years and he is a great friend. Just as being tolerant of someone else's kids, sharing a friendship with him would be an easy thing. I run an educational history group that covers all of Colorado and teaches Scandinavian history during the classic Viking age. As an artist, I work in many disciplines, wood, iron, brass, bone... whatever it takes to create museum quality educational pieces.
