Something happened to me on my way to the airport in Mumbai, India. I tapped the taxi driver's shoulder to asked a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit the "Holly Cow", and stopped few feet from a shop window. I love to fish but it seemed fish doesn't like me. I went to Kenai Island in Alaska to fish with my high heel shoes on and my mini skirt. I worked as a stock trader during the internet boom / bust. I left the corporate world to pursue my passion. My ultimate goal is to volunteer in a no-kill animal shelter instead of just trying to make money. Saving homeless and abuse animals is my passion. I am pragmatic but spontaneous. Nurturing but competitive. Peaceful but energetic. I love staying up late - wether it's to party, have sex or just read a good book. I definitely have an adventurous streak -wether it's trying out an exotic recipe in the kitchen, walking my cat on a leash or traveling the world thanks to my good friends at Hotwire and American Express Travel. My dream trip is taking the Orient Express from Paris to Venice to Budapest, then relaxing on a Greek island with nothing but sunscreen, Warren Buffet books and Wired magazine.

Dance and my baby granddaughter are my biggest passions these days. I like walking, being outside. Yoga and meditation are relatively new in my life, and are opening up different aspects of life. I like cooking and eating, relaxed conversation. I am probably more of a philosopher to see the big picture and how things relate to each other, not so good at all the specific facts and figures. People tell me I have a calming effect on others.

I am someone who's passionate about life and living. Although retired, I'm very busy and wonder how I was ever able to find time for working in the past. I had a fantastic career and profession, and now I find myself involved with a lot of charitable activities.

I have been told that I am a loyal friend, funny and have a lot of personality. I am retired from a major airline but currently teach high school (presently substitute but seeking full time employment (maybe)). I am slender in my build (size 6) and shorter than I use to be. I try to work out about three to four times a week, mostly walking, free weights and exercise. I enjoy investing in the stock market and tracking my portfolio.
