OK, today is the day that I'll write something about me. 56 years and a couple month ago I was born in Germany. 24 years ago I came to the US. I liked it so much that I became a US citizen 12 years ago. Currently I am working for the US government as a medical professional. I have 3 children, 2 are still living with me. They are in their teens and twenties and able to take care of themselves. Because my family is very important to me, I am happy to have them around. We like our little "community", and are happy to welcome whoever decides to become a " fellow citizen".
I am a happy person, I like to see smiley faces around me. I am committed to whatever I say "Yes" to. I am very open minded, fair, I don't play games, so please, don't play games with me. I am honest, finally trusting again - I was a little shaky in that area after the divorce - , down to earth, loveable, looking for love. I work hard every day, but I also like to play. Sometimes I have a bad day, so please have a hug for me when I come home. I like to stay fit, and healthy. I like to snuggle up but I am not a couch potato. I am a Christian, I worship my Lord. I like music, good food, the outdoors, travel etc... I'll tell you more, when we meet.

I love spending my days off doing something outside. It could be as simple as taking care of the yard or going for a hike. I like to play golf but am not great at it, so I'm starting lessons! I like to give everything I try 100%. Although I'm not very competitive, I just like playing the game.

I have a genuine interest in people, places and ideas. I love humor, smiles that reach ones eyes, and a curious mind. Perseverance in the face of adversity is a quality I admire and try to emulate. My father taught me, good can be found in anything or anyone. You have to be ready to find it. Humor will usually get you through a life that often is unfair. I believe God will find good in all things and we must have faith in the unknown and unseen and leave judgement to him.
However, I am a bit of a snob, quite competitive, love to be right, fight negative thoughts and constantly must redirect myself, and must often temper my expensive tastes. I talk too much and need to be a better listener.
I am an empty nester willing to evolve and find a new definition of myself.
