I enjoy my work.I like going to the movies and theater, I enjoy bowling, not very good at it, but I enjoy it. I love doing theater, I have to be in at least one play a year, more if another one comes my way. I have 2 cats that make me smile everyday. I am a positive person and would like to find the same. Life is short, lets be happy. I also enjoy playing games on my WII. Love to go dancing, where is my partner for old time rock n roll!

Athletic, active, petite former designer, I find my present career exciting and challenging-- it's terrific working with kids and making a difference in their lives! My favorite activities include making dinner with friends and having spirited conversations about pretty much everything; snowboarding in deep powder on a clear winter day; racing sailboats or "just messing about" on the water; playing mixed doubles on the courts; scuba diving (in warm water, preferably!); rockclimbing, outdoors rather than in. It's been a couple of years since I've been as active in sports as I'd like but am interested in sharing those activities again. Avid interests include cars, motorcycles, houses and remodeling, music, food and wine, kids, dancing, design, ... OK, almost everything! Quiet evenings can be cozy with a fire, a glass of wine, and a movie or a book. Going out--movies, theater, music, galleries, dinner, athletic events--is fun, too, especially trying something new! Life is definitely not a spectator sport; it should be lived to it fullest with a huge smile on your face!

I am 50 years old I have 3 adult sons 1 still lives at home just graduated and I have 2 grandkids. I am looking for someone to spend some time with. I am not a big sports person but I do enjoy being the observer/cheerleader while you participate. Camping is ok , but need rv or trailer not really into tents. I like going to dinner, shopping , movies, musicals, concerts, decorating, remodeling or just vegging at home watching tv. I am a woman of a rich soul. On one hand I am well educated, sophisticated, artistic, evolved and spiritual. At the same time I am very down to earth, warm, compassionate and sensual. I enjoy man's energy and companionship;.. I am a foreign born;
My life have been interesting and at times adventurous. Two years ago I went to Alaska for a year training with Providence hospital. It was an amazing experience. I have been in the helping profession my entire life and my motto is that compassion is the new radicalism of our time..
I have been a widow for 13 years and raised a beautiful son who is a Fulbright scholar in India this year.
I would like to meet a man who is evolved, spiritual, wise, generous and loving.

I was born on a farm in ND, moved to Oregon in my 8th grade. From this, I learned at a young age that each person had to be responsible for the various chores that had to be done. I also learned the value of life in all living beings and how to take care of it.

I love being in the outdoors, working in my garden or in the woods with my camera. I have a good sense of humor and appreciate a sense of humor in others. I love to laugh and enjoy life. I'm always curious, from seeing what's around the next bend in the road to what's over that mountain or just what makes things work. I like going to all kinds of museums, antique stores, garage sales, junk stores and farmers markets. I like to travel and have a growing bucket list.. I am the mother of two wonderful children and three grandchildren. I'm very involved with my family.

Gardening is one passion; it relaxes and rejuvenates me. There is satisfaction in watching the plants and flowers grow! I experiment with new combinations of plants to change the effects of texture and color in the yard.It’s hard to miss my friendly and upbeat personality. Others find me easy to talk to and appreciate someone who always sees the glass as half full.

dependable, passionate, successful, i own my own home, financially stable, nothing excessive, pretty laid back. easy going personality.I like movies, horror, comedy & action (not so much chick flicks), comedy clubs, bowling, pool, darts (not saying I am any good at the last three! but still like to try) know a little about muscle cars, used to drag race some. I love fireplace or beach fires. sunsets and sunrises. would like to sample more of what Portland has to offer, not a born Oregonian, although have lived here the majority of my life. have traveled some, Europe and a cruise would be the most extensive besides a sampling of the USA. I am allergic to dogs :-( but could deal with that if the opportunity was right!

When I first came on this site I likened it to Alice going down the rabbit hole. It still seems like that to me! It is an exercise in snap judgments for both parties but, since that is the name of the game, here goes: I believe I have integrity, a kind and caring heart and am respectful of other people's viewpoints. I do have a rather curious turn of mind, however, and enjoy having conversations about anything and everything from cabbages to kings.
As for music, I like everything from new age to big band to classical (I have season tickets to the symphony). I enjoy art and paint murals which are great fun to do. I write a form of poetry which is just a shorthand way of getting my thoughts in order. As an experiment, I have put a poetry post in front of the apple espalier in my front yard. Interesting comments from passersby! Philosophically, I am not a black and white person. Politically, I lean to the left. Even at this stage in life, I am still trying to make sense out of things....I suppose I will always be a seeker.

After 50+yrs of happy married life and 4+ yrs of learning to be happy alone it is time for me to stretch my comfort zone and reach out for some of those things still on my bucket list. I live a pretty simple life at home yet have had some great travel experiences in past few years. I'm usually neat but not always stylish. I like being around people, but don't stand out in a crowd. More shy, than outgoing. Try to be fit but don't really like exercise, especially by myself. I think I try to please others. My faith is important to me but I don't flaunt it. I may be considered strait laced and old fashioned but can loosen up when I feel comfortable.

I live alone and I feel very confortable. I like to cook but I do not do it so often, now.I cannot walk very much, and this does not stop me for going outside. I have an electrical wheelchair; which I can take it in the trunk of any car, I walk at home all the time. I am very sociable and everybody says that I am funny. I use to work like a comic actress in my country, I speak Spanish and English. I enjoy a lot going out and traveling. I, also, like to be at home.

Hate these, but oh well, i am faithful, loyal, sometimes to much, love to much, like to have fun, even though walking has to be more slow than anything and preferably on a level surface. i am a quiet and shy person, till i get to know someone well then you probably would know it. And i want my last love, for the rest of my life, with a firm foundation of friendship.

Growing up Irish American, I liked Lucky Charms because I felt I had a relative on the box cover. Since then, I have enjoyed amazing journeys, from the underground waterways of the Yucatan, to the Chinese Gardens here in town. Plus, I've found my years of teaching children has made it easy to chat with adults.
