My life is about fun, my home, my dogs, my grandchildren. Love to play pool listen to live Country music, dance. Go for drives, the beach, the waterfront. I am a down to earth fun girl. home and family dogs and friends.

I love to travel. it's a passion of mine. My children come first, but, as they get older, I need to focus on me! I would love to have my travel business explode, as it has been a life long dream of mine. I enjoy dancing, singing, walking, watching movies. As long as I'm with a person that makes me smile and laugh it's all good!

I have to laugh because I get a lot of flirts saying they like my profile yet I haven't written anything. hahaha

So, I'll fill in the gap.

I consider myself more on the outgoing side as oppose to those who talk about things they did years ago. I'm an avid tennis player and golfer. I also downhill ski and shoot a mean game of 8-ball. Love the arts, movies, music and dancing. Not so fond of country music but love the country if that makes sense. My family, although grown children live in other States, is very important to me and I speak with my girls almost daily. Although a bit goofy, serious conversation is something enjoyable. A bit liberal in many respects but I'm open to other opinions as long as others are open to mine.

There is lots more to share and "share" is the operative word here. ;-) So lets chat!

This is a day sailer that I can launch on my own but would prefer to have a partner to share the fun. In the winter I love to downhill ski...I love speed. Indoors I have many hobbies and love to watch sports, especially football. I warn you that I am a yeller. Otherwise I am a calm, level headed gal, which comes in handy as an Intensive Care Nurse

My faith is the most important aspect of my life. Knowing God's faithfulness and love, serving Him and those he sends me to is the goal of my life. I would like to share this with someone who is equally serious about the Lord.

My daughter and her new child, her fiance are the other three important people in my life. They are all living with me for a short time.

I live in Oregon City. Retired and easy going, a free thinking spiritulist. Very open minded, experimental and laidback. I enjoy life, old cars and growing things. I have spent a great deal of my life traveling and am just now settling down. I am not a small woman, I do have extra weight, it seems to think it belongs there. I enjoy art and sciency subjects.
I am an Army veteran and I have my own income. I survived a heart failure episode in 2k06 and am on the up side of that, it can only get better, I thought you should know. I also enjoy playing cards and playing pool. I haven't played cards in a while, nor pool. Since I retired I would like to reconnect with these pasttimes. Flea markets/garage sales are fun. My little dog Girlfriend is part of the package.

Oh I am not the all American boy :). I wasn't even born here (where? where women glow and men thundah). My direct ethnic heritage is Southern Slav. I have been exposed to traveling at a young age. That changes your view of the world. What am I like? You can tell probably that I have a sense of humor. I am quite respectful of others, honest, passionate (yes really I am).

However for those with very strong opinions I will not waste your time in further reading -

I have liberal views. Liberal views as in Northern Europe, Australia or Canada. That comes from the combination of travel and life experience. I have visited behind the iron curtain when there was one. Trust me on this - being conservative was the rule. The alternative could be unpleasant for not only you but your entire extended family as well. Yes I did have party members (informants)in my family there too. Conservatives here I find have much in common :).

Religion - I was raised Eastern European Catholic - that makes anything here in the USA look liberal in comparison. I am now an Agnostic :)

If you are still reading - you will notice Im quite upfront :) I have numerous and diverse interests. Trying to have fun is the key.

Hi , I am brand new to this whole process, so it is a bit daunting. Im still putting this all together...so I am navigating my way around this...I know most of us did not anticipate being here, not at this stage, not in this venue. I am trying to keep an open mind, but it is challenging.
The photographs are just that, and that is no indication of who we are, really. Guess we have to start somewhere.
I like people, I love our stories. I Love ideas, philosophy, physiology, literature, anything that tells our stories. How we are all connected. I love a river, stars, and good red wine. The idea of a photograph, a paragraph or two, ? I totally believe in taking it slow. Not running in the cyber space that limits that real time.., just getting to know eachother. Yes, in real time.

I am widowed, who likes to travel short trips and long trips.
Favorite place to vacation is Hawaii, and the Oregon coast. I have recently made a change in my life, looking forward to meeting new and interesting people. Family is very important in my life. Would like to meet someone to start a friendship and see where that may lead.

I care about what goes on in the world and try to do my part to make it a better place. I just retired from over 40 years of teaching school. I am a positive and active person who enjoys doing many activities including going out and to movies, exploring the Northwest, walking and good conversation, reading, playing golf and tennis, going to sporting events and lectures, watching a good movie at home in front of the fireplace, and dabbling in politics. I am in good shape and have a healthy lifestyle. I am interested in a woman who cares about what is going on in the world, is thoughtful, bright, attractive, and has a good sense of humor. Hopefully, she is independent and doesn't define herself by her mate, but by what she thinks is important, fun, and interesting. If she shares some of the interests listed above that would be great, but if she adds some of her own for me to share that would be better yet.

So, if you are looking for a stable guy, financially secure, with a great sense of humor, and a good sense of who he is and isn't. Then I may be the guy.

I can be a fun guy, but also a little challenging at times. I'm quite aware that life is a serious business at times for anyone and I am well-equipped to face that part of life.
Currently I am a pretty busy guy, with a nearly full-time job and a major renovation of my home in SE Portland. But I spend a little too much time by myself and one reason I am here is to reach out to find a compatible woman.
