After years of being single and putting all my efforts, focus, and attention on parenting, I have come to realize that now that my son is soon to leave home, I need to move onto the next phase of my life!! I need to take some time for me!! I seriously need and want some time for me that is not all about work, but fun and adventure. I'm still old school with regard to family, morals, values, and faith in God. If it were not for my relationship with God, I would not be the woman that I am. I see myself, others, and life's situations, as the Lord would have me see them. For me, the glass is ALWAYS half full. I look for the best in people and I try to make the best of everything. I'm a happy, positive person, who loves to laugh, but knows when it's time to be serious. I work full-time in management and mentor young people through my own non-profit ministry. I am an easygoing woman with a passion for life and everything I put my mind to. I am very compassionate and enjoy and strive for the simple things in life; family and friends, helping others, walks, music, the beach, candlelight dinners, and being the peace and calm for my companion. I'm a little old fashioned, yet classy, but absolutely not your average girl next door!!

I love life.I enjoy reading, taking long walks , going to amusement parks going to the beach.watching new and old movies. I go to the gym 3xs per week. I love good food l enjoy laughing and holding a good conversation. I am very serious about my work . I find peace by just sitting quietly and listening to the sounds of life and having a silent conversation with GOD.

Well, my general outlook on life, people and some of the things that occur on this little globe of ours is this. "It is what it is" . And all we can do as individuals is to accept things as they are, and if we have the power(for lack of a better word) to be able to contribute GOOD things to the events that effect our lives and the lives of others, then we should sure as hell try. Because I don't like having to use or even think about the terms: Oh, if I only... or maybe I could have...or If I only did this or that or the other or maybe I shouldn't have. Well, that's just a waste of energy and it'll do nothing but drive you nuts. I just try to live my life as it comes along and then accept it for what it is. Have FUN with it. and try to contribute to it for the better!

I love people from all walks of life. I have a large extended multi racial family which is very important to me. My favorite place to visit is the beach. I enjoy going out to eat and attending plays and concerts. More later!

My husband died 19 years ago, just as our children were graduating high school and heading to college. I re-married for a brief time - just didn't work out.
