I'm a very caring person who will be there for whoever is special in my life. I am an extremely patient man who is a fantastic listener. I'm a big sports fan who loves football, hockey and soccer. I love to cook. I am interested in reading books and going to movies. My favorite kind of music is Jazz but I love most kinds depending on my mood.

I've had a successful career in three different but related fields. Now running my own financial advisory firm. I'm an avid reader and love to travel. Now living in Sequim, with an apartment in Seattle, I anticipate selling my Sequim house (giving up the otherworldly view of the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island!) and moving "back" to Seattle. I also anticipate having a winter home somewhere warm. I've learned during my time on earth (and more importantly, while I was married) to not sweat the small stuff. I think I've also learned to stop, listen, and think before responding when having conversations. I'm very involved with my college Foundation, and am on the Board of the Dean's Advisory Council at the Law School from which I graduated. Also believe in being involved locally, and am on the Board of the local Boys & Girls Club. Am happy in jeans or dressed up. The biggest thrill I've had while living in Sequim these past 10 years was owning a 20 acre "spread" with horses, dogs and cats. Amazing how much you can learn from animals if you slow down to watch them! This experience was way out of my background, as I am originally from Chicago and thought Seattle was a "small town" when I moved there 26 years ago!!

I am a people person who likes to share life's bounty and beauty. I love adventure, making art, and teaching people to create and appreciate the wonders created by others. Mountains make me happy and I love to hike and snow shoe to soak in their inspiring presence. I travel internationally whenever I can find good travel buddies. Smart conversation is one of my favorite group activities.

Have found that the saying "No one ever says they wish they had worked more" is really true. Sometimes it takes a while for that to sink in, what a waste! I'm turning that around and making more time for me.

All-around nice guy, divorced 28 years so absolutely no baggage. My only 'live ins' were cats.
Am a little slow walking since I stepped of a curb I didn't know was there. What a jolt! But still on the go. Right now all I can do is sight see NW places.
Favorite places are Lake Chelan and especially Stehekin where I have a cabin.

Am a retired financial professional, but still operates a small income tax practice. I enjoy the outdoors, the beach, fireplaces, movies, dance programs, and swimming for exercise.

In 2009 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and, since I have a genetic predisposition for colon cancer, I didn't want an radiation, so I had it removed. I'm not quit the man I used to be.

In 2010 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's, the symptoms of which are muted by medication. Thankfully I had purchased my LTC insurance before 2009.

This year I learned that I have no cartilige between my ankle and leg bone and that eventually I'll need an ankle replacement or fusion. So no more step-aerobics routine.

Mentally I'm in my forties, enjoy day-hiking, walking on the beach, road trips, sharing sunsets, full moons and bottles of wine. I like to relax by a crackling fire - gas doesn't crackle - and have deep conversations. I've been handy around the house, and used to be with cars until the mid-80's.

I lived alone as a junior and senior in high school and have been domesticated for a long time.

I love my family. I love my job. I love laughing.

Hi I'm here for friends. I have MS my walking is crummy so I use a scooter for shopping etc.I still drive and everything else works..LOL I'm a happy person & think positive 99.9% of the time.

A bit warm still from the divorce. But halloween is still coming. I am south dakota farm/ranch raised. Got an ee degree, went to the oil fields for tenyears, then to boeing for eleven. At this time in my life, it is another journey I am on. I am able to put possitive energy into the universe so I can get a positive energy back. Life is too short to live with drama, jealousy and anger. I want to experience someone who can be charismatic, spontaneous, humorous, trustworthy and affectionate. I strive to be one who can communicate openly and wants that in return. I love- "Love" what a concept- if you see something that I have said and known it to be true, then I guess you don't have to look any further, right?

I still love taking my Hip Hop dance classes with kids 1/3rd my age. I'm bicoastal and split my time among New York, Seattle and Portland, spending my weekends in Seattle plus whatever time I can get helping with my new Grandson. I'm a holistic psychologist professionally which appeals to my nature. I'm understanding, empathic and caring of others, but also have done my own work on myself and feel whole on my own. I have a great life that could be even better with the right person.

I am a giver and a doer. I volunteer a lot. I am a believer/church goer and a very active member at Christian Faith Center in Federal Way. I tithe my 10%. Not much of a drinker and no drugs. want to learn country line dance.

I am an independent thinker and an independent woman. I enjoy an active life-style and strive to take care of myself physically and emotionally. I consider myself to be pretty stable and and self sufficient. I am happy with who I am, which I think makes for healthier relationships with others. Some of the things I enjoy are walking/hiking, horseback riding, camping, boating, cooking, gardening, going to live theatre, holding hands. I am comfortable at a pub in a pair of jeans, drinking a nice microbrew but also clean up pretty well. I favor red wine but some whites are fine too. I am not particulary picky about food and will eat, or at least try, most things. I am looking forward to seeing what the next adventure in my life may be.

I enjoy my job but getting away for a weekend--planned or spontaneous -- creates excitement and closeness to the relationship.
My two Adults (children) are both successful in life -- my daughter was recently married to terrific a gentleman. They reside in the area and both work for great companies. My son just completed his studies at P.L.U. and is attending DO (Medical) School in Iowa.

Really enjoy fixing electrical , mechanical, structural things in houses, cars, and various equipment. I visit the gym regularly and climb under my and others houses and cars to perform repairs. Spend lots of time with my grandchildren and am involved in their sports activities etc. Just resurrected and repaired a small bicycle for my youngest.. Frankly, not much of an ocean person, however, enjoy traveling and exploring the desert southwest. When traveling I often avoid freeways and take secondary or tertiary roads - much more interesting. Came within 10 credits of B.A. degree in Sociology 30 years ago. Politically tend to walk left of the centerline but, have been known to veer either right or left on a particular issue. Am an agnostic so probably not a good fit with someone wanting a partner to share in theological activity. Non smoker is important to me, light drinking immaterial. Feel long distance relationships too difficult to establish and maintain so would like to meet someone within approximately 200 miles of the Seattle area. Like to think of myself as sensitive, empathetic, and caring but who, when necessary, can (and has in the past) take charge and handle various situations in a pragmatic and practical manner.
