My passions are Southern Gospel, a little Country, and some soft rock. I would like to meet someone who enjoys going to church some, someone who would be a little spontaneous who would like scenic drives to State Parks and Mountains as Tennessee. I also enjoy quite time and reading, and some outside activities as camping, riding bikes, skating, hiking, bowling, canoeing, or just going for a walk.

I am a very personable and outgoing man. I consider myself a good communicator, easy to talk to, and I actually listen. I enjoy interesting conversations and have a very inquisitive and creative mind. I love watching college and high school football. I grew up playing sports and have always stayed conneted in some way. I see sports as just a game and nothing more. I enjoy the beach and would actually like to travel more. I enjoy going out to movies and eating out as well. There is nothing high maintenance about me.

I have lived alone, except for my dogs, since a divorce in 2006. Most of the time I am OK with the aloneness, but there are times I really miss a true deep relationship with a female friend. I do not want to be together with anyone day in and day out, as I think people do better when they take responsibility for their own happiness/sadness, success/failure, but I think having a true friend can enrich life immensely.
I have a dry sense of humor which is sometimes mistaken as cynicism, but I love to laugh, and feel free under the blue skies and the night time starry skies.
I would add that for a deep relationship to develop, the partner would have to love animals as much as I do, because animal welfare has been a true passion for me for many years.
While I have not traveled as much recently as in the past I do love travelling short trips too the beach or mountains or longer trips across country and even to other countries.

I prefer a good-lookin' man over money any day. Just a Cary Grant or even Jeremy Irons (when he was a little younger.) Now about me, who doesn't love to talk about ME?! I am good-looking, intelligent, entertaining! I AM all those things with JUST the right lighting. I am honest to a fault. My honesty is tempered with kindness. Short stories and poetry are my favorite form of literature. I can make almost anybody laugh;I think it's the way I SAY things, not the things I say necessarily. You won't be bored around me. All in all, I'm an outgoing person who loves people, but I also love home.. I make my home both elegant and beautiful as well as comfortable and warm. Now I don't really like the PROCESS of cooking, but I love watching others enjoying my culinary talents. So..YES, I'm a pretty, pretty, fine cook. And I'm am talented in many areas. Yep! I'm an all around wonderful person! Ha!
