Although I was not born in Alaska, I have lived here most of my life. My roots are here, and it will always be home.

I have driven the Alaska Highway more than a dozen times and could go again tomorrow. I've only been moose hunting once and consider myself lucky to have not had to shoot one, though I like moose meat. I know how to fish, thanks to my dad, though I haven't been in a while. I believe that ATVs are for transportation not sport, and snow machines are for getting you out to places where the scenery is wild and the people are few and far between.

I am a bit of a chameleon: comfortable in jeans or heels, or jeans and heels, or waders. I can hold my own in most conversations that don't involve physics or rabid political viewpoints.

I am easy going. Not moody. Love to travel, eat good food at home and at restaurants, watch good movies, attend events, enjoy gardening and puttering around the house. I like camping, fishing and gold panning. Love my grandkids and my children. I work a full time job and love it. I like having barbeques and enjoying friends and family around a bonfire. There is no way to say just a little when I could write a book about my 66 years of living life to the fullest no matter what the situation. Just take what life offers and enjoy it. Although I have gotten picky thru the years and know exactly what I want this time around as I feel like I'm starting my fifth life. More on that later. I know what it is to love someone. I would love to find my best friend in life again! I am a family oriented person, my parents I've locally and I see them regularly. My son, his wife and my grandson live in Anchorage and I love to spend time with them as well. I love camping, I don't think there is any better smell than a roaring campfire.
