Working on a "fixer-upper" mobile home-keeps me busy. Love Sunday football and going on walks. Healthy and happy. Still looking for that great "passion" in life-enjoy every day and everything that comes along with it. A one man woman. Like to be able to cuddle and spend time together but still have our own space. Went a lot of years without a man in my life so I could raise my children. Now is "me" time. Have a lot of love and life left that I would like to share. Not a drama queen. Old baggage is "packed and stowed" away. farm girl--one big brother and all male cousins-know all the boy "toys". Motorcycles to stock cars. Early riser--love sunrises- making breakfast- starting the day with a smile.

Swooping into San Diego and sitting on the beach playing my guitar and harmonica. Seafood in Del Mar. The Stone Brewery in north county.

Dropping into a slot canyon and not emerging for days.

I like travel, family and trying new things. I'm outgoing and love to laugh. yes my stomach is to big I need help getting it down but the rest of me is in good shape. Family is very important to me I have many relatives here in az and they all came from other places mostly midwesterners. I am confident and self assured and want my relationship with a companion to be mutual. I was married to my wife for 45 years and had a great marriage. I am a one woman man and can't stand people that play around. Smoking is a deal breaker for me can't help it just the way I am. I am a wine and beer drinker once or twice a week maybe. I like going to restaurants, laughing, watching movies, laughing, swimming, especially with my four (4) Boxers and really laughing. So, if your not a dog lover, I'm probably not your guy! I used to be a pretty fair golfer and am trying to play more but it's ok if it's not your interest and the same applies to shooting targets at the gun club. I do have a passion for the stock market and look forward to making it a full time career. I listen to all types of music.

I recently relocated here from outside of the Philadelphia PA area where I was born and lived until June of 2012. I do have to admit that I feel like a fish out of the water here in AZ. I am not a conservative nor a republican! I guess I didn't take into consideration the politics of the day when I decided to live here.

Well like most of us on this site... I am looking for my next great love. I was married for more than 20 yrs. to a great guy. His time on this earth was far too short. He passed at the young age of 50 when I was only 46. It was more than 12 yrs now & I have had a couple of people in my life. These relationships helped me to grow into myself and be a better person.

My life has been an interesting journey thus far with many ups and downs but I have learned that each experience brings learning and personal growth. I believe we are here to do just that.
I am not a religious person but I am spiritual (which only means I believe I am part of something bigger than myself). As a child I was full of fear.but the person I am today is someone who embraces life and all the changes that life brings to the table.

I have been in AZ 4+ years now, and I call it home, but I live most of my life in TEXAS, small town gal, you knew everyone and they know you.
So about me: i am laid back and fun, I have a positive attitude, active, healthy, don't smoke, kind, loving, romantic, understanding, honest, and care for other, I have rarely ever meet a strange.
I like walks in the mountains and walks on the beach. I like to cook, cookout, picnics, I like to watch sunset and sunrise, movies old and new and eating popcorn, all kinds music, slow dancing, football(college football & college basketball & also high school football & basketball). Like to travel ( have been to central Europe would like to go back; and to see more of the USA) love history, historical sites, antique look, music, concerts, coffee(with lot of milk), conversation & love to do volunteer work, I have a great deal of energy and vitality, i am curious, creative and resilient, have many interests, i find passions in doing and thinking about all sorts of things. I stand up for my beliefs, conscientious, dependable, cooperative and very protective of the ones I love.

The zest for life from the beach to movies to enjoying a quiet evening at home are things I enjoy. I like to spend time working out at the gym and would like to share that experience with someone who also enjoys that activity. Simple and shy, but love to laugh (especially at myself)! Bars are not on my bucket list, but I do enjoy getting out and mingling with the wide variety that life has to offer.

I am the kind of person that likes to have fun and experience new things. I like sports, concerts, dancing and traveling. I will try anything at least once to say that I did it. I am a great listener and am very affectionate.I have 3 kids and grandchildren so family is very important to me.

I finally made it. Back in Chandler and am amazed how beautiful it is. I am close to everything and am enjoying discovering different places. Have started country dance lessons and would like to meet someone that either country dances or is learning. I feel that if you have something in common and like do it that is a great starting place. I am looking for someone that is a Let's be friends first and spend time with to see where it goes. I am pretty easy going, taking walks, dancing, movies want to have some fun.

Words I like, dog, crisp (as applied to sheets and cookies), Hi Dad, Darwin, half-full, truth, Everest, fresh (as in bread and air), "todays-the-day", and naturally, naturally. Words I dislike, liberal and conservative (they divide), never, half-empty, FOX, can you hold a moment, and press 1 for English. Words I don't understand, infinity. Yes, I'm a Brit transplant where football is still played with a round ball, and the World Series consists of more than a few states ! The Two-Step I can manage, but don't swing, the dance, not the other ... would love to learn ... the dance. I work because I continue to be challenged. I'll stop when bored . Movies, concerts, reading, Netflix and Hulu, never ABC, NBC or FOX. History's fascinating, from Monticello to Windsor. I have patience, wish I had more. I have time, wish I used some of it better. I've learnt, wish I understood more. Oh and BTW, must love dogs, humans are optional !!

I am and have been a musician ( Jazz and Jazz/Rock ) music teacher (guitar, bass), computers, cross trainer and natural bodybuilder, personal trainer, exhibited artist, writer, computer analyst, banker, business director, President of an Industrial Development Commission, manager/technician, and somebody for the boss to bother when he/she has nothing better to do :) .

I have 4 dogs .....

Love dogs.. I' ve never had to break up with one. Been involved in pet rescue. Mine are all rescues.....I had three ... actually 'fostered' another Staffordshire pup....he's deaf...he's a rescue as well......he's now number four :)

I've had relationships with a ton ( thats 2000 pounds.... alot) of excuses...I have been used....I despise deceit...I despise liars...Me? Honest, sincere, always there, too much of a nice guy mostly ...
