I am very much a people person. Outgoing, honest, loyal , and dedicated to the person that I love. I Love life and I think it shows. I take great pride in all that I do. I like myself, I don't have to be joined at the hip with my partner in order to feel complete.

Originated in the Midwest, KC area, and lived in Colorado most of my adult life, before relocation to Arizona two years ago. Devoted most of my working career to my own sporting goods business as a manufacturer's rep, though am still involved in a somewhat related occupation.

I'm educated (two degrees), easy going, good sense of humor, and absolutely adore the companionship of a compatible woman. I was married once (decades ago) and never had children. I do still have some lifelong friends (couples) that I treasure highly.

I enjoy the outdoors, still do some hiking and biking, play tennis, ski, golf pathetically. Enjoy concerts, photography, movies, ethnic dining, and absolutely have a fascination with travel. This can range from a road trip to Sedona or San Diego, to international travel. Thus far it's only been 2 trips to Europe, Mexico, Canada, Central America and Africa (where some of my disheveled photos were taken en route to Kilimanjaro) Always curious about the rest of the planet, different cultures, people and world events.

Once competitive athletically, running, tennis, cycling and skiing...now far more mellow.

Recently widowed, so just kind of testing the water right now. Im pretty easy going, laugh easily, like to read. Most enjoy teaching my regular Bible class at church.

I've lived a happy and fulfilling life to this point and would expect that to continue. I would love to find someone who likes being social but equally enjoys down time with me. My 3 grown sons are a very important part of my life. I know they are the reason I was put on earth. I've learned an act of kindness or thoughtful gesture can make a day and try to surprise someone everyday with such. Love seeks to make happy rather then to BE happy.

I am about as low maintenance as they come. :) I love to laugh, travel, read, cook, drink wine and be with my family. I'm extremely tolerant and think everyone deserves their point of view. What I don't like is when other's think their point of view is always right and there's no room for discussion. I'm originally from Iowa and some of my best friends in the world still live there. They are my rocks and I see them often. Did I mention I have 2 girls? They're what keep me going, laughing, crying, motivated to make myself better. And they are fabulous human beings. Oh, yeah... also have a pain in the butt dog, Henry. Chihuahua mix rescue dog. But we love him too.
