Let's give this a shot. A little about myself.......hmmm, where do I start ? I just moved here to Mesa from Santa Barbara, Ca. this past November so I am very new to the area. I left SB, Ca. in search of a new life, I needed a change. The things I like to do are surfing, (guess I'll have to take up a new water sport...LOL), traveling, weekend getaways, wine tasting, working out, tennis, golf...(just a hacker, but I like it) socializing, laughing, and just being happy and having a good time. Life is too short to worry about the little things. There are still too many things I want to do. I love all kinds of music from classical to classic rock. I have always played in a band and toured. Now I just strum my guitar for fun and to reminisce. I am a very loyal, honest, trust worthy, die hard romantic, and sincere gentleman.

I have always found it hard to view myself honestly but I will try even though I realize I don’t know what to honestly say. People say I’m intelligent and people say I’m stupid sometimes I think there is a great phrase that might fit me and maybe everybody else “ I am both the child of the creator and the belly of the snake “ So given that I’m a really great guy I’m just misunderstood. Okay enough evasion on my part . I think I am a really good friend. I think I am a loving reasonably kind person . That has many interests and has an open mind about most things. I think I try hard to be a good partner in relationships with women and I’m still very willing to learn more be better.. As you can tell I try at least to be philosophical I realize it sounds kind of phony but "hey " I'm really trying here !!!! to seem interesting.

I am a clean, healthy and young at heart, 5'2" blue-eyed blonde, weighing in at 128lbs and considered to look and act younger than my age and thought to be attractive by the majority of people. I clean up well and can look quite glamorous, but I'm no "glamour puss". I have a good sense of humor and appreciate the same in return. I have a great interest in architecture/building and find it exciting to smell the sawdist, step over sawhorses, climb ladders and help in all aspects. Helped partner/rn a masonry/insulation, business and helped design/build/renovate houses. I am open to new things and intersts and adventures and supportive of my friends and partner. I have had many varied occupations but spent most of my working years in the health and medical field. Was in advertising & real estate.

I am retired from civil service, the only thing I miss is payday. I am a loyal friend, an honest person and I like to enjoy everyday. I have moved many times in my life, so learned to meet new people, find a new job and make new friends. My favorite kind of travel is a cruise ship. I like music, NASCAR, growing flowers, traveling, playing cards. sewing and dancing. I have a sign in my kitchen that says "I only have a kitchen cuz it came with the house", but I can cook once in awhile.

I am retired. I am originally from Michigan, but have been in Arizona for seven years this month. I am widowed and enjoy getting out and meeting people. I work out on a daily basis. Looking for friendship at this time and see where it leads. I love to travel. I also am an aspiring author. I love to read and I love to write.

I've learned 2 things lately....life is short and living alone is lonely. Go figure. I'm an active, happy, healthy, well-liked lady who enjoys biking , hiking, dinners out (or in, if someone else cooks ;). I'm a retired speech therapist, and have lived in several states, but now call AZ home. My time is filled with a variety of activities and interests, from gym time, to reading, singing, painting, partying, traveling....so much to do, so little time!
