I am relocated from Connecticut about 6 years ago. my two daughters came out with jobs and decided to stay. we are very close and I spent a lot of time missing them, so I decided to move to AZ, and make Connecticut a vacation spot. my mom just passed into heaven recently and I am so thankful we stayed so very close. I miss her terribly and she will remain in a special place in my heart and in my memories. I am humble, honest, and kind and am so very grateful for every day I am given. Ive run on to rocky road over the years but still there has been nothing i could not and can not handle..i feel very blessed!

So hard to describe myself...I am a one man woman, faithful, trusting, and very loving.My trust in others has taught me some hard lessons...not everyone is who they say they are...but I am willing to take the chance...I like to be outside especially when I have something on my mind...it helps me sort out my thoughts...I like nature, especially the water (funny since I live in Arizona)...the ocean is powerful and beautiful and most of all healing and relaxing.

Having been raised by an Air Force fighter pilot from Ireland and a mother from a tiny town in Nebraska I was used to moving every three years of my life. So, it's easy to see why I joined TWA as a flight attendant when I finished college. I definitely had sand in my shoes and traveled the world enjoying camel rides in Egypt & ostrich races in So. Africa. While skiing in Austria I fell off a T-Bar & had to be taken down the mountain on a toboggan. Now that's an E-ticket ride for you!
Besides travel & skiing, I enjoy golfing on some of our lovely Phoenix courses. Last spring a wild coyote circled my golf cart & wouldn't let me near the green (protecting new cubs, perhaps?). Later that week I spied a bobcat just off the tee box & two snakes. On a positive note, I certainly scored better than the coyote in spite of not finishing that hole!
On the home front, I love to cook and entertain but also like to meditate and read a good book and sip some wine.
My life is great fun & the one thing that would enhance it would be to have a great partner for dancing cheek to cheek & snuggling!

money matters

I moved to Arizona from New Jersey about 4 years ago with my grown up daughter to spend time with my elderly parents. I am adjusting to the change but would like to meet that certain man to share this experience with. I currently work 2 jobs and stay busy because of this. I consider myself fun to be around and very caring and affectionate. I love to go to the beaches and just got back from North Carolina.

Honesty and communication are essential to me in any relationship. I am passionate about life, my family and friends. I believe in laughing and enjoying life to its fullest. The glass is always half full.

My son is 24 and I just became a grandmother for the first time. WOW what a blessing. It's a boy !!!

I am fair to gaz upon, a few extra pounds and still loosing do to better eating habits, and am told I have a smashing smile. I am currently working as Project Manager and have traveled around the world in my career.

I grew up in England and go back occasionally. Having fun, dancing, socializing (50%), spending time kicking back (50%) are important to me. I am open to trying different activities.

Because I love dancing, I have retired in Mesa, AZ, where I am active in the round dance community (choreographed ballroom dancing) and I also have been blessed with the opportunity to take ballroom dance lessons from an exceptionally gifted teacher. I am in the process of remodeling my home which has necessitated that I learn many new skills. Because I love learning (I am a retired teacher educator), I strongly advocate lifelong learning. Family and friends are very important to me. Besides dancing, I enjoy quilting and other needlework, live performances (e.g., Hale and Palm Dinner Theaters), playing bridge, serving a professional organization as web manager as a volunteer activity, and also spend time working out each week. I enjoy a good conversation with sincere, respectful, interesting people.

I am very patient, drama free, and am at a point in my life, where I can enjoy myself. I am done with raising kids, although I enjoyed every minute of it. After working for years as a restaurant manager, I now have a job where I have free time. I like watching old movies at home or new ones at the theater, as long as they are not scary. Nothing worse then sitting through 2 hours of people being slaughtered or a guy under your house with a chain saw. I love to cook and I like to try new restaurants. I am a good listener. I enjoy a night out of conversation or dancing. I am not fussy and I do not have to go to a 5 star restaurant. A taco stand on some nights sounds like fun.

God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.

I am looking for a best friend that if we match would be loyal and not hurt me and I would do the same back. I don't like conflict I believe in communicating and I would expect that in return. genuine, fun, curious, interesting, not impressed by money, impresssed by honesty and a sense of pride....clean living but don't judge others, half of a partnership, retired flight attendant - which means I have a great sense of humor but don't take to grumpy complainers. I love life and I am excited about having new adventures after raising 5 kids and working for 25 years, I would like to find someone to enjoy my retirement with. I love to laugh and I have a great sense of humor, how could I not find humor in so many things when I was raised with 14 brothers and sisters. Yes, it's true I have 8 sisters and 6 brothers and we had so much fun growing up and we still have fun when we get together. Never a dull moment. And we're all pretty good looking too. lol... I have been on a cruise to Mexico, and many trips through state parks and would love to do more traveling. I have been to Island Park and West Yellowstone, many times and to Jackson Wyoming camping, riding 4/wh, hiking and watching the hill climbs (snowmobile climbs) up King Hill. Have camped many times in different parts of Idaho. Have vacationed in LasVegas, Florida, Park City and many other places. Would love a companion to go with to expand my horizons, I'm not a loner, I need someone to travel with or just spend time with. I don't mind being teased or teasing. I'm the first one to laugh at myself when I do silly things and it's ok if you laugh too just don't get mad. Life is too short to get upset over little things.
