I am still working full time as a graphic artist. It has been my career, I taught for six years (tech school) and loved it; however, I am looking forward to retirement. I love doing the following things, a little camping – easy hiking – sitting by the creek with a special friend – reading – traveling – building things. Also movies, dinner, family and friends and a glass of wine. I'm comfortable in my jeans, but I dress up well.

I am extremely passionate about my family. Next to God, they are my number 1 priority. I think it is important to have a strong family that supports and loves each other. Through all the obstacles that life can throw at you, it has been with my faith and family that I have found success. Throughout my life, starting from grade school, I have been involved in music, theatre, and art, so I have strong ties to all of them. I think it is important to enjoy all that life has to offer!! As far as interests go, I can go from dinner and a play to staying home and watching a football game, as long as there is honesty in the relationship.

**Update 10/28 ** well geesh, guess been a few since I have been on. The "almost" 50 is now there. Now doing some work on the backyard, as it, like the interior of the house, was in need a face lift.

My self summary huh? Almost 50, that might take a few pages, and who wants to read pages of historical data....zzzzzzzz.

So, to keep it brief for now, normal gent, been consumed with the house (see "what I'm doing with my life), lol. Am an aerospace engineer, currently a manager, helping to herd 25 project engineers as they try their best to get into trouble.

Enjoy music, most kinds actually, depends on my mood. Still have not gotten the rap bug, so think that is just out of my interest for good. Enjoy the outdoors, need to get back to hiking and camping.

I could give you some exciting tidbits of life events, there are a few, but in general, pretty mellow gent.

Enjoy hiking, visiting southern California whenever I can (the ocean always makes me smile), exercise, reading (too much lately), going out with friends, and so much more...

I am both a mountains and a beach person – though not sure why, as I didn’t grow up with either. In thinking about writing this piece, I called up my best friend and asked her to describe me. She used these adjectives: easy going, thoughtful, good listener, smart, happy, dependable, and conscientious. I thanked her and said that sounds like my border collie. NO GAMES !!I am 66 years old!! working on what I feel is the last chapter of my Life! I have been divorced once and widowed in 2004!!I have 5 chidren and stepchildren.
I am a retired SS worker. I managed an adult traing center for adults with disabilities!! WHICH WAS A PASSION WITH ME. I am from a very large family in Jax Fl. After my husband passed away moved here to be close to my children 2010!I want to meet someone to share the last chapter with, I am not a rich widow and I am not looking for someone to support me . Just want a friend!I was raised fishing and our entertainment was eithier in a boat or cooking out on the beach, My Dad would catch fish and my Mom would cook them . We spent ao many Holidays on the the beach!! Things have really changed so much, we used to be able to drive on the beach pick up oysters and play in the sand duness!!

I retired in June and am busier than ever....lots' a plans for travel, more time for dancing w/ my horse, road trips and having fun with friends. I tend to be quite cerebral but know I'd benefit from a fella' that can balance those type A tendencies. I love to cook for special people in my life but enjoy dining out. My heart is open to all animals...and have a few. I'd best mention up front that I own a cat (Ms. Eartha Kitty), canary (Yellow Ball), horse (Dublin Dude) and pot bellied piggy (Petunia Marie) and love them all.
