First let me say that I've grown out my hair since this picture was taken and I'm told that I am prettier than I photograph -- so please read on.

I achieved all my career goals and retired last year. I am loving it and would love someone to share my time with and maybe do a little traveling -- weekend get aways, seeing Arizona and the U.S. Maybe Italy some day - I'm first generation and look very ethnic.

I am a compassionate person who is fun to be with (so I'm told). I am vivacious, enthusiastic, affectionate, spontaneous and well grounded in Christian principles. I enjoy the company of a man and can also function well alone. I don't need someone, I WANT someone. I'm in great health and financially stable. I enjoy the simple things in life and love, love, LOVE to watch sports! I also like movies and documentaries, especiallly about the Civil War, WWII and Viet Nam. I enjoy crime dramas, too, especially Detroit 1-8-7, Chicago Code and Southland.

I'm a fun-loving, warm, caring, easy going person with a twinkle in my eye and a smile on my face. While I'm chronologically in my 60's, I've been told I don't look or act anywhere close to that age. As the saying goes "age is but a number". Am content with myself and my life, but would like to have a relationship with a "special person".

Everyone says this, but it's certainly true for me -- it's tough to write about yourself! I'm a musician, and that's both my job and my joy. I think my friends would describe me as fun-loving, loyal, and trustworthy (does that sound like a dog?), and I like to think I'm moderately intelligent. I love trying new things, and tolerance is a big word for me. Mostly I'm pretty easy-going and laid back, although I'm pretty intense about my work.

I love anything in the outdoors conoeing and camping. my hobbby is astro-phisics. and theoretical biology. i like to read and study different cultures and religions. I am in the education field working on myPh.d dissertion. I love my farm (CATTLE) and kids.

I am, first & foremost, a Lady and extremely unique for my gender in this day and age by being somewhat “Old Fashion”. I am very witty and love to make people laugh & smile, this being a goal I set for myself everyday! Intelligent, but not a “brainiac”, more like I have a ton of common sense, (which of course is NOT common… LOL!). I am very physically active and love sports, especially golf, baseball & football. I love the outdoors and enjoy camping and fishing & I enjoy playing most types of games, card, board and video…being competitive, but only in fun. In my quiet times I love a good book, movies and music. I absolutely adore animals, especially horses, dogs and dolphins, the beach being one of my favorite traveling spots! I have traveled over at least ½ of our world & have seen and experienced many countries, their people and cultures, which has given me a true appreciation for what we have here, but at the same time envying some of those cultures their simplicity, their dedication to family & their uniqueness.

I have a son and 3 grand children that I adore but, dont see as much as I would like to.

I once was focused on career. But in this new stage of life, I have found the importance of family and friends is number one - having long lasting relationships, getting up each day to do my best and be kind to others. Of course some days I do better than other days.

I enjoy travel. I like trying new things - have a scuba license and a motorcycle license, but not anxious to use either of them anytime soon. Got them because I wanted to try something new. Next new thing may be the wind tunnel south of Tucson for sky diving novices.

I am financially stable. I still work, but this time around it is a job, not a career. Been there - done that. No need to climb the ladder again. Happy with less responsibility, but like the extra income to finance those trips. Plus I like going into the office for comradery, at least for now. At this point it is all optional.

Happy with who I am but I continue to be a work in progress. You will find I am kind, honest; and intelligent. I am fast to smile and enjoy a good conversation and sharing of ideas. I'm willing to give it a try - how about you?
