I have been called "spunky", a "classy lady", and a gentle, compassionate soul....I'd like to think all of those descriptors are accurate. Over the years, I have learned that life is sweeter when we choose to be kind rather than right, and follow the guidance of our own passions. A little yoga, meditation and hiking is fun, but am not a 'gym' person; there is not a single thread of spandex in my closet. I travel for my work and get plenty of exercise running through airports. I love donning an elegant dress for an evening out, shorts and a T-shirt for a walk on the beach, or a comfy nightshirt to sit in front of the fireplace. I enjoy evenings at home with friends as much as going out to a concert, dinner, movie, or sporting event. Not much of a camper - Holiday Inn is my idea of 'roughing it'. The pictures are recent from my Alaska cruise in Sept., 2011. Starting to cross off some of those bucket list things – Galapagos Islands or Norway is next up. Care to join me?

I think I'm an interesting mix of personality traits . Philosophical at times... Never a dull moment once I get comfortable with someone. I'm curious about everything and love to have great conversations about all sorts of different topics...love to connect with people, especially when there is chemistry with the right partner. Parents moved to Niagara Falls after I got out of the Marine Corps- was big city wise guy, Steel mills, but always back to my country ways-Got to Phoenix because all the plants in Buffalo closed, and came to phoenix for work-- In construction for years but fate pushed me to VA hospital at slow time-started as a janitor-kept going to school and now an LP nurse-Fair money, great benefits, retirement-Joey has good teeth, strong back- good catch for young missy!
