I'm sensitive and can be talkative once I know someone. I was married 41 wonderful years and loved every minute of it. I'm retired but enjoy doing volunteer work at a hospital.

I am a baby boomer who is very skilled at self-expression both in serious discussion and joking. After all, I have to; I am a college professor. I enjoy witty humor and banter. Affection, hugs, and holding hands are important to me as I am the touchy-feely type. ENFJ is my personality type. I am extroverted, easy to talk to, and outgoing, very sociable. My friends say I am loyal to the fault, committed, compassionate, and agreeable. I've had to overcome multiple hardships, especially raising 4 children with a career. I love movies both foreign and Hollywood. Novels, wine tasting, parties, political discussion and current events interest me. International travel satisfies my curiosity about foreign people, their culture, food, and languages. I've had the great blessing to visit 6 continents. Next on my bucket list is New Zealand and Australia; it would be nice to have a travel companion.
In my life most people I have expended the time and energy to get to know, I have come to care for deeply. My ideal date would be 'we click face to face; we have so much to say to each other, we don't want to stop talking'. For me the key to a good relationship is honest communication.

I am a Registered Nurse, most of my work was in Psychiatric and in Administration. I like to laugh and laugh easily. I like to get to know people and their likes and dislikes and what makes them who they are. I am not athletic, but have spent some time with a fitness trainer and can appreciate fitness. I like to cook, travel, read, listen to some music, and appreciate art, theater, good writing, and good movies. Money, to me, is a means to the end, meaning, it is necessary to be able to appreciate some good things in life, but not all. I think people would say I am generous, kind, decisive, have a good sense of humor, and can be very naive at the same time.

I live life with the glass always full. I am very blessed in that I love my job, my family and friends and being in Tucson during the winter months. Art has been the inspiration that makes my heart sing and my soul rejoice. I do every thing with integrity and passion.I am active and exercise everyday. I love to try new things. In addition, I enjoy traveling, going on silly adventures and being spontaneous. I also like going to movies, the theater, lectures, kayaking, watching a sunset, or walking on the beach. I am open and capable of deep love and commitment . I am an honest, independent, loyal, compassionate person who is real and down to earth . I laugh every day and can have humorous and/or intelligent conversations. I believe that every person has a story to tell and I love listening. I also love being listened to.

I've spent the first half dozen decades of my life on my own, and that's been okay. But I would enjoy some good company for the upcoming decades, whether it's for dinner, a concert, a road trip or a hot air balloon ride. I love to be constantly learning -- I went back to school in my late 50's for another degree. Also tried surfing and playing the clarinet this past decade and am now studying Spanish. I try to respect everyone I encounter, and listen to their stories -- because everyone has one. I've traveled extensively, enjoy it immensely, and have lots more traveling yet to do. I am seldom in a bad mood and DO enjoy laughter, good conversation and meeting new people.

I am generous, caring and nurturing. I'm easy going, happy, fun , affectionate. Laughter and positive people give me high energy. I am a great listener and appreciate the little things in life. I see the good in people, am intuitive and not afraid to speak my mind. I am comfortable entertaining, as well as being alone with someone to share quiet times. I am not "athletic, " but I do my best to stay fit and I'll try anything (twice at least). I do exercise daily to stay in shape. I like cooking and entertaining.

I work as a teacher, so I think a lot about education. I have a wide field of interests and am curious about most subjects. I like to keep healthy by walking, dancing, and eating healthy foods. My adult children are my best friends, and my pets are Boston Terriers. I am very independent.

I have been single for 10 plus years and love to do most everything, camping, fishing, shooting, cooking, gardening and baking amoung other things and I love to cuddle watching a good movie. I haven't liked the last few years of life changes so I plan on making the next few years one heck of alot better.

I am comfortable in small groups or large. I like all kinds of travel, car, rv, cruises etc. Family is important to me. I am usually early. I love the outdoors. Like animals especially my cat George. Watching TV is good but also is taking a walk, playing cards, or spending some time in the hot tub.

I love the outdoors, salty ocean water, powder like sand between my toes, gentle ocean breeze, beautiful ocean or mountain views, boating, rock and roll, theatre, symphany, horses, rodeo, taking the world in from the back seat of a Harley, mani/pedi's, good friends, entertaining, travel, sports (GO PACK GO!), cold beer on a hot day or Baileys and coffee on a cold morning. San Diego, Marin, Disneyland. I am told that I look younger than my age, I am fit, work hard, great sence of humor ( at least I think so), loving, affectionate, and expect to be treated like a lady. Not at all into drama. I adapt to my surroundings well and can dress up or down for any occasion. I can be a tomboy and also very girly. I drink alcohol responsibly. I do not do drugs and am not interested in a relationship with someone that does.

Family and friends are very important to me... as well as my health. I'm active, though not obsessed. Love the great outdoors... hiking, skiing, the beach/ocean. It's a spiritual thing as much as anything. I'm a good friend - a good listener. I try to be open to other's thoughts and ideas. Read several books a month. Love clean and tidy surroundings... finish what I start.

Dwight Yokem. But you can not beat George Strait for being the all time best! I have a good sense of humor and feel that humor is essential to living in the world these days. I am an avid science fiction fan. All things UFO and I am interested. A good movie and burger and I am happy. One of my hobbies is shooting pool, and am not a half bad shooter. I am a total animal person, love all kinds of animals and have no respect for anyone who does not share important trait.

Not sure, pugs are my passion. I help with a rescue group that does lots of good for the pugs

I'm a meditator, astrologer and spiritual seeker. Have lived and worked (Micro-Credit) in developing countries after retiring from high school teaching (Spanish). Have been an NGO rep. to the United Nations, am a news-junkie, continue traveling, am independent on all levels, very considerate and expect the same in return. Ok, it's been a long time since I have been on the "dating" scene. I own a small business and as my family says, I work too much. My life is surrounded by my family and my dogs (who are family). I raise and show dogs. I love to travel. I used to own a motor home and loved traveling in it. I am an Arizona native, but have spent some time in the pacific northwest. I enjoy dinners out, movies, quiet nights...and Arizona sunsets.
