I’d like to think my friends consider me loving, compassionate, honest, socially conscious, and family oriented because that’s how I see myself. I have four grown kids whose company I enjoy immensely, but even they can’t replace the company of one’s best friend. I received a master of social work in the 90s but have made my living for the past 20 years as a real estate agent. Sort of an odd mix but it works for me. I am serious minded, but consider a good sense of humor a vital part of everyday life, I just have a hard time demonstrating it in writing. I believe strongly in social justice for all people and find our culture’s love affair with unregulated capitalism to be a sad commentary on a country that was founded on the principle of government of the people, by the people, and for the people, but I’m still glad to be living here, just hoping our votes will count for something again…sooner rather than later. My favorite activities involve visiting with family and friends, either here in Tucson, where I have lived since 1961 or in Charlottesville, VA where my two daughters now live. I also like organic gardening (I’m a vegetarian), volleyball, reading, and watching a good U of A basketball game or a Cub's baseball game.
