I'm a country girl that played sports, worked on the farm and rode horses then decided to take a vacation so i left home to serve my country in the US Navy. I recently retired from Federal civil service position so I'm pretty patriotic. I was a single mother but now my daughters have moved on with their lives and I suddenly realized I've got time for myself.
Ive traveled extensively in my career and would like to continue to do that. But I don't want to travel those roads alone. I would very much like to share life experiences with a friend, a partner, a lover and yes I would like for them to be one in the same, but we can never have enough good solid friends. I'm honest, sometimes to a fault, loyal, devoted, faithful and generous. But I do not tolerate rudeness, disrespect or BS.

I am a very active woman. I VERY MUCH LIKE TO TRAVEL BUT IT IS NO FUN TO TRAVEL ALONE. I have means to take care of myself so I am not looking for someone to take care of me but rather someone with whom I can share life and the experiences that life offers us. Used to have two Basset Hounds but they both passed away of old age......they were full size, female was 80 lbs at her largest (she was a pig when it came time to dinner too). Had 3 cats, they have all passed also....no animals at this time
