Hi, life is too short to be in a rut so let's go forth and conquer! I am looking for a partner to enjoy life's activities with. A bit about me: I grew up and went to school in Wisconsin, spent 10 years in Minneapolis (froze) and moved to San Diego 25 years ago. Now I'm retired after spending 30 years in finance and loving it! My life is in good order with friends, family, son (finally graduated from college!) home, and many activities that I enjoy. I feel my life is very full except for a special man who I hope to meet.

I am active and fit but I do walk with a cane due to an injury several years ago. I love to get out and enjoy life but I am not a candidate for back packing, mountain climbing or riding wild bulls. All other parts and pieces are original and in good order.

I am a very sincere, honest person. I would do anything for someone that I care about, almost to a fault.
I consider myself to be fashionable after being in the retail business for a long time. I have learned what is really important to me though, its not always about what's expensive.

I try not to take myself too seriously but I do believe life is a meaningful and wondrous adventure, that's why I love interesting conversations, great literature, movies, independent film, and people who are intellectually curious. Most of my friends know I love to laugh, and value harmony in relationships. I'm a good listener, and like to accommodate others, and I also know how to communicate what I need as well. I'm outgoing and enjoy my profession and financial security. My hobby is writing. I love to work out at the gym, dance, take long walks along the ocean, entertain, and travel. Tend to be a news junkie. I'm a moderate Democrat but if you're a moderate Republican I won't hold that against you.

I am athletic and love the outdoors. I work as a Legal Secretary/Paralegal for a law firm. I love to hike, run, walk, go to the gym (almost every day). I also play the guitar and play on my church's worship team. I am sorry to say that I am introverted until you get to know me. I do like spending time with friends.

I have an advanced degree in Social Work, although taking a respite from it currently I am doing alot of volunteer work currently in a local hospital in the healing arts.. . I love being out in nature, especially in old growth forests. I have two grown sons. I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, going to live theater. All types of music interest me. I have a bubbly personality and like to see the positive side of life.
