My strongest passion in life would have to be my family. They would tell you that when I'm nervous a chabber a lot. Which is true, but as I have aged I have noticed that I have gained a strong personality and can be quite opininated at times but I do know when to keep my mouth shut. I do use a cane when I walk but it hasn't slowed me down from doing the things I like to do. I have lived in CO since I was 6 years old, so I'm almost a native of CO. I grew up camping in the mountains during the summer time. Even worked on Pikes Peak for a couple of summers. Great experience. I spend as much time as I can at my sister's cabin enjoying the mountain air, fishing, or hiking. I love cooking but leave the grilling to the men. I have a golden retriever who is a big part of my life. She loves drives up in the mountains as much as I do.

about me is very simplified....I am a good listener, intelligent, open-minded, spontaneous, love walking, camping, outdoorsy type, driving, movies, jazz is my first love, all other music comes after, I love to clean, iron, yardwork, and cuddle.

Very easy going. Like simple things. Not materialistic. Love to travel. Enjoy fishing, darts, cards, bowling, the Broncos, cooking. Fun and funny, but can be serious.

I've been in CO since '08 and really love it! I've been single since '96 and hate it! :+) I think this is the best time in my life to concentrate on a deep relationship and friendship without all the drama and worries that seem to plague us when we're in our 20's or 30';;s.

I'm financially secure, educated, and well-read. I've raised 4 kids to adulthood and am ready to take some time for myself.....however, I really miss the companionship and fun that a male/female relationship can provide. I'm affectionate and demonstrative and am looking for the same....both in the bedroom and out in public. I want to enjoy life...the mountains...nature...and finding new adventures. In other words, I'm ready to have fun and enjoy life and a great relationship!

I'm an average guy . A bit of a nerd, I love going to antique stores, comic book shop, book stores. I have a wide variety in things, music, books, movies, television shows. I have several hobbies. I enjoy cuddling on the couch and watching a movie or just reading.

I get my energy from: laughter, family, friends, sunsets and sunrises, cooking for 20 or 2, fine wines, the arts and theater, fireplaces and dancing the night away....

I am 61 retired, widowed, like old cars and hot rods. I am trusting can go shopping for hours, or flemarkets, because im with the person I want to be with. I like shooting guns and the local car races. taking day trips or weekends, movies, and snuggle. And white.

A little about me...? . I like to think of myself as intelligent, an intellectual, a rationalist (enjoyed the "Sword of Truth" series). I'm a bit of a curmudgeon, but I'll never be intentionally cruel. Did I mention that I love animals? Dogs are number one, cats right behind, and most other warm, furry beasties. I'm NOT into organized religion; this is not to say that I'm not spiritual. Faith and rationalism... oil and water. I am a skeptic and a cynic (I came by it honestly enough). If you are anti-gun and believe in gun control, don't waste your time or mine. };-) If you are simply afraid of guns, or are frightened by them, or are made uncomfortable by them, I can teach you about them. No one should live in fear of anything. I'm not Rambo, but I refuse to be easy target or a victim. I like to laugh - it feels good - but it seems that there isn't much to really laugh about these days. I like to dine out, when I can afford it. I like going to the movies, again when I can afford it. I enjoy a wide variety of music, although hip-hop, rap, grunge, and shock rock are out. I'm not really as hard-nosed as I make out sometimes.

I am mainly a home body, I go to work and come home. My interest include, horseback riding, scuba diving and traveling. I enjoy having friends over occassionally, as well as getting a few good trips in during the year. I have a nice home, so I don't feel the need to be out of it all the time. I am not a follower and have the need to be with crowds. I perfer smaller groups were you can talk with each other. So, more into quality, rather than quanity!

I'm a guy who is very laid back. Hoping to find someone to enjoy life with and grow old together.Know that she loves me as much as I loved her... It would be great if she enjoyed a walk or just a quite night watching TV..As she would see after hanging out with me that I'm quick witted and like to just have fun. I try not to take life so serious.Hopefully she doesn't either.I just try to live by the Golden Rule, which is really hard to do at times. Life is about the memories and I have had many in my life. In reflection, I wouldn't change a thing except to have someone special in my life now. I enjoy music, movies, yard sales, theatre, church, grandkids, laughter, fishing and my job. My dream is to buy some land near Divide and to build a log cabin as a retirement home. Just recently checked off one from my bucket list-riding in a hot air balloon. Swimming with the dolphins is next. If you've had a good life, are emotionally, physically and financially healthy, want to spend your senior years doing the things you love, with someone you love, please give me a try.

I am a retired dietetic internship director who is looking for an intelligent Christian man (any or no degree) to share my love of music, books, travel and the outdoors. My hobbies are cooking, beading, photography, playing the piano and singing in my church choir. I have a small RV trailer and a 4WD car that can pull it, and am trying to see all the national parks and monuments I can. I am open to learning new activities, such as golfing, geocaching and fishing. I would like to take my grandchildren to see some of the wonderful places in Colorado and USA. I am blessed to have loving relationships with all siblings plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting them gives me a greater appreciation of who I am and the kind of people I have as family.
