I've had a successful career with the Federal Government, working and retiring from the Air Force Academy. I'm financially stable, own my home (with the bank), have kids and grandkids in town. I am very active. I love to go to the mountains to ski and vacation. As cliche as it may sound, I do love walks in the park and strolling, window shopping, whatever. I love the theater and shows and plays. I love literature and I stay active in colleges with friends that are professors and connections.

Nice to have EU Passport, can even "run for office"..lol !.. Play, read & transpose music for 6/12/bass guitars & trumpet. Reading & writing with large diverse library. Home-improvement and other mechanical skills good. Built (wrong verb?) vege garden this past Spring. .Like classic cars, (restored '64 T-Bird), boating, flying, et.al., but not too many toys. Worked/lived many locales; Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, EGYPT, Russia (when it was still the Soviet Union), Ireland, England. Working overseas allowed for extensive travel to Europe, East Africa, Central Asia & beyond. Completed degree in London (I speak "British"..lol), Arabic & Spanish = fair to moderate. Considering Ecuador for short/long term venue. As this country is falling apart, have been doing a lot of research - Spain/Morocco MOST appealing, AND other venues. Open to any potential venue. Egypt still high on the short-list for a few year sojourn, but must wait until the political dust settles in the Middle East.

I have a good personality. I enjoy being with people and meeting new persons since Im new to the community. I guess money is important to live and shelter and food. I was a head start teacher for along time. Then Iwent back to nursing and then I went into the activity Dept. I mainly did this in a alz. unitd for over 20 years.

I love being at home and just watch a good movie and cuddle. Sometimes going out to a good dinner, movie and more. I love a good woman. I work in Law enforcement and I am working on my private pilot license.

I am a Widowe and miss a Women around me. Writing is slow for me , English is my second language , never went to school for it. Only went to nightschool for citisenship classes , was 19 when i came to the US from Germany right after my appranticeship.

I'm outgoing and enjoy being with people. Cherish my longtime friends, appreciate the life I have, enjoy each moment as life is short. I dress neatly and cleanliness is important. Positive outlook on life and only serious when necessary. Like to discuss various topics of interest. I'm a member of a local book club and enjoyed several trips with our local KKTV group. Numerous travels with Road Scholar which are educational and a non profit group. Hilton Head Island, SC is a favorite winter vacation spot. Casual or fine dining, nothing better than a candlelight dinner with a glass of wine.

I am intelligent, honest but not overbearing. Can be serious when needed. I like to travel, when time permits. I don't smoke nor drink. Self-sufficient, not clingy.
