We always had room at our table for an extra plate & no one was ever turned away. I love to country dance, it takes me back to my roots and it is a wonderful way to express myself & release stress. I also ballroom, I know just enough to be dangereous. I consider myself to be gracious, I was taught to express love & freely give & receive affection. I have the ability to carry myself with confidence no matter what the situation, be it pleasure, business or dining out. I'm independent, when I have a bad experience I learn from it & move forward. Over the years I have tried not to sweat the small stuff & choose my "arguments/battles" very carefully. I find pleasure & contentment in the simple things of life & would like that in my partner, here are just a few: laughter, long walks, watching the sun rise and set, swinging in the park, laying down on fresh mowed grass, watching fields of wheat swaying in the breeze, juicy hamburger, sharing an ice cream cone, that special dinner by candle light and of course chocolate - a lot of it.

I am adventurous, happy, and secure. I am definitely not a typical 63 year old woman. I'm a country girl at heart, drive a pickup truck (full size) and love to camp out and wander the mountains. I love to dance, travel, sing, throw parties and attend parties. In my quiet moments I like to read, have a quiet dinner somewhere or just relax in my back yard. I drink occasionally, a glass of wine with dinner or relaxing at the end of the day. Sometimes, my kids "make" me drink a little more!! They seem to think I need to sample every tequila made in the world! They're so cute! I have three sons, two daughters-in-law, one soon-to-be daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, a grandson and a soon to be granddaughter. I adore them all! And I think they kind of like me! I love to travel and go on "excellent adventures". I'm very spiritual and into the metaphysical. I'm not an "organized religion" person but definitely believe in a higher power. I am honest and will settle for nothing less in someone I see.

I have many interests. Have my own business, but work part time. Family is very important to me.

Let’s begin with now – Recently retired from a career in marketing research where I owned a small consulting firm in Denver – we conducted survey research for various corporations. Currently learning how to enjoy more free time and ‘retirement’ although I am still somewhat busy and still have dreams to fulfill. Although at this age we all have a ‘history’ I carry very light baggage. No children and currently no pets, as I no longer wish to be tied to the responsibility of that kind of care and feeding. Truthfully, I am on the go too frequently traveling and spending time in Denver, Vail, and other places to properly care for pets these days.

Background for me includes: Grew up in Georgia (that’s Georgia, USA). Education at U of GA. Have traveled extensively in Europe and Mexico; plus visited almost all states in the US. Like downhill skiing (formally addicted to it), which drew me to Colorado in 1979. Also enjoy travel to off the beaten path places and understanding the people and cultures existing there. Generally people tell me I’m easy going, considerate, kind, curious, and down to earth. After dressing “business professional uniform” for years, I prefer casual these days.

I'm active. Like to go to the gym. Run/ hike and bike also. Like to get out when I can. Colorado has alot to offer. I enjoy my work . I'm early to bed and early to rise. TV ??? Would rather watch something like a discover/nature than American Idol. I do have allergies/asthma which interferes at times. My weigth varies 180-165 on how my workouts/ running is going. Have grown kids and grandkids that I enjoy from time to time. Not a couch potato. I'm fairly laid back. I'm patient and caring about the people in my life.

35 year career with various Wall Street Companies nearly all in Chicago. Retired to Denver mostly for the skiing and great summers for golf and all mountain activities. Of course the stock market is still important. Easy going and with many interests and after 27 years of marriage, 2 kids, living in Chicago, one sure learns how to believe in compromise and compatibility that is far better than some of the opposites. I have a diversity of other interests like collecting old golf items and recently played golf in Scotland. Denver Theater, and the usual like movies, restaurants, and other sports are important also. Yes there is travel, some say just travel, I say , "Have check book will travel." Spend time in Vail in the winter as I have a place there also.

Sunday afternoon at a ballgame, walking around Manitou or a drive in the mountains. A good book or movie will do also. You never know until you try.

I'm very passionate about empathy and treating and being treated with respect and loving kindness. Mean people are just that, mean.
I personally don't do t.v., but don't mind if you do. I may even watch it with you. If I curl up next to you with a novel while you watch your favorite show, you may find me watching the commercials in between segments. Yes, it is as strange as it sounds. wysiwyg.

First I will say is my two boys are my world and they are a big part of my life. I am an honest man, loyal, caring, spontaneous, friendly, happy, trustworthy, romantic, affectionate, open- minded, sense of humor, funny, and will always smile and laugh. I put everything into a relationship to show the woman I am with not only that I am there for her thru the good and bad, but also the fun.. I love to try new things whether it be an activity or dining at a new place. I enjoy movies, dining out, sporting events, walks in the park, drives to the mtns, bowling, amusement parks, quiet evenings at home, putt putt golf, bbq's, to hanging out with family, and friends.. Initially, I might be a bit shy around people I first meet. But, once I get to know someone, I feel I am an honest, funny, loving person who enjoys all aspects of life.
