I work hard and play hard. I am told I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making people laugh. I am passionate about helping other people and trying to enjoy the good things in life- food, wine, travel, adventure, film, art, exploring other cultures. I love to work with my hands, working on my house and playing with my dog"Bubba", a yellow lab. I love riding my bike for hours or skiing or hiking, then eating great food and drinking tasty wine followed by a great movie. I have had the good fortune to travel to many interesting places and am partial to France or Italy for the great natural beauty, art and culture.

I own my own business. The business has been my passion for 40 years, is my social network and my release for the creative. I have tried to share my life with someone not connected to the profession and someone I thought was connected to the profession. The latter is better as it is easier to whine to a sympathetic ear than one that's tone deaf.
My daughters come next (or first, depending on the urgency of the need), but they don't live with me most of the time. An arrangement agreeable to all involved. Do I have time for a personal relationship? Yes. It is what's missing.

I enjoy snow skiing, hiking, dancing, happy hours, movies, social gatherings, and almost any new adventure.

Being health conscious and physically in great shape is highly important to me.

I love traveling and so far, Florence, Italy is my favorite city because of the architecture, art, museums and the "good feel" of the city. I'm very interested in visiting Paris after watching a PBS documentary. The history there is intriguing to me as well as the beauty.

I enjoy taking a break from all things serious by getting great laughter out of comedies like Frasier & The Big Bang Theory.

I haven't really put myself out there to date for a few years, just enjoying myself hanging out socially. But I'm getting kind of tired of not having that special person to hang out with. I have done online dating in the past but was never really comfortable with the whole thing, but hey, I'm willing to stick my toe into the water again.

I think I'm a young looking 51 year old, I don't tease my hair, wear elastic pants or have a million cats (although I do have 2 dogs and 2 cats). I've never been married nor had kids, life didn't deal me that winning hand. I've just spent the past few years doing my own thing. You won't see me on ski slopes or doing anything else that requires strenuous activity. I'm the kind of girl that likes movies, TV, books, old architecture, photography, dining out, visiting cities with history rather than resorts with palm trees, and just walking around. I'm kind of goofy, observant, sensitive, and I'm a liberal. There, I said it.

Enjoy nature, family is most important. I love to laugh.

I am a social person that enjoys being with people, in fact I get energy from them. Alone time with that special person is also a delight. I try to have a positive attitude and see something learned in each situation.
My background started off in nursing then went into sales, pharmaceutical, travel, Real Estate and education.
I am blessed to have two grown children, a son and daughter, my son lives in Atlanta and has given me three beautiful granddaughters, my daughter recently got married and lives in Denver.

Moved to Colorado in 1980, love it here, I'm an architect (not a great time for that) but I do love my work when I have some, attending church (Christian), somewhat introverted, but I do like to talk.

This would probably be better for someone else to write about me, but I'll give it a go. I am a person who takes relationships to heart. I can be trusted and am good on my word. I became a widow 20 months ago. Now I know I need to rebuild & restart my life again (as are you) I love children and like to be around them, but am satisfied with not having to "raise" any. There are many things in life I am thankful for and know they are all blessings from the Lord.
I'm blessed with love of family, friends, good sound mind and health. I take nothing for granted and so appreciate and enjoy the outdoors. I have a cabin that I spend a lot of time at. I like to go 4-wheeling, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, cooking, sitting around an open firepit, laughing, telling jokes and maybe a cocktail.Although I prefer the mountains over the city, I enjoy some of what it has to offer(movies, restaurants, outdoor concerts). I took up painting a few years ago. I'm involved in an organization where I can sell my paintings, and give back a moderate percentage to help children in less fortunate family situations. I appreciate the good things in life, but the not so good as well, , , and they will be there! There's always something to be learned and grow from.

After many years in the computer industry (from being a computer programmer to owning a computer consulting company) I retired to pursue my avocation... art. I now am an artist and co-owner of a co-op in the Art District on Santa Fe. I also volunteer at the Denver Art Museum and have been on the board of the Colorado Pastel Society for many years.
I enjoy traveling and many times it has been to paint. I speak french (poorly) and love to eat (oh, I meant cook :-) many cuisines. I enjoy variety and trying new things.

I've been told I am a loving and caring women with a big heart. I love the arts and enjoy the symphony, musicals, museums. I like movies, going with friends, dancing, riding and walking. I am ambitious, very bright, inquisitive, emotionally and financially stable and funny. Integrity, honesty, spirituality and giving to others is important for me. I love animals.

I’m a creative, social woman. I’ve been involved in the visual arts in some way in all parts my life. From the graphic design, fine art prints and paintings. Now I get the creative fix from art openings and volunteer at the Denver Art Museum. I'm a social being and enjoy having dinner with friends and the conversation that flows. In the concerts in the parks or Botanical Gardens is always a good time. Travel is an adventure that ways reenergizes by batteries. It can be New Mexico road trip, a beach in Costa Rica or museums in Europe.

I enjoy tennis, golf, live music, dancing, theater, dinner with friends, conversation regarding current affairs. I value honesty, commitment and the ability to consider differing opinions. I am compassionate and tolerant.

I am very out going. Love the outdoors. I like to take walks, movies, theater, dancing, country and oldies music. I also like to travel. I don't play games, and not looking for someone who does, we have enough drama in our lives we don't need anymore. My Children and Grandchildren are very important in my life and always will be. I am very family orientated and looking for a family oriented person as well. I like to hold hands and love a man to hold my door for me.

My family and friends are the most important thing in my life. I love spending time with my two grown daughters and a wonderful group of friends. Since retiring, I get to spend a lot of time doing my favorite things that include playing golf, traveling, trying new restaurants and wines, entertaining, dancing, watching movies, reading, and doing projects around my house. My friends and family would probably describe me as a caring, loyal, patient and fun-loving person.
