Born in Cambridge MA, grew up in Bellmore LI, NY, Denver and Boulder CO, Hartford, Westport and Washington CT, Greenfield MA, Old Westbury, Muttontown and Cold Spring Harbor, LI, NY, and NYC. Lived in Cape Breton Island NS, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Washington DC, and Chicago. Traveled extensively around the US, several points in the Caribbean, around Europe twice, overland from Greece to Nepal in 1972 (22nd B’day in Kathmandu – here conscience dictates that I state that while that trip sounds impressive, it was, at that time, as easy as falling off of a log), and Eastern China including the Yangtze River.
