I have two kids who I've raised on my own. One in college and the other going next year, although of course college kids come home for lots of vacations and the summer. I have a big puppy who we all love and when the weather is nice I take him for nice runs. When it's cold it's tough so I'm attempting to train him to use the treadmill lol. Hi, I registered on this site because I would like to meet a companion in life. I grew up and lived in Ukraine till I was 50.I was a journalist and also i owned a small retail business. I have the only daughter who lives in the States for a while. So, at 50 I made a crazy change in my life- I sold everything and i moved to the States so i can be closer to my daughter. I didn't know one word of English. Now I am a caregiver-I take care of elderly people.It's very different from what i was doing back at home, but i feel that i am doing something good for elderly. All my friends are back in Ukraine and often i feel lonely- I would like to meet somebody who can become my new friend.

I originally come fom Long Island , the North Shore and have lived in CT for the last 8 years. Previously I lived in Boston , London and Sydney for a bit. I have three kids form my previous marriage 2 in University and the yougest who lives in Chicago with his Mum. I am a commuter who travels to Manhattan everyday as I work in Finance. Probably the one thing I love is to travel about and see the world and experience other cultures and the marvelous things one can see around the world. Haven't been to Africa yet need to do that trip !

I have many interests, primarily they are artistic and intellectual. I'm outgoing and very at ease with people. I am not at all religious, but have a strong emotional attachment to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. I believe I'm individualistic and iconoclastic. He was an artist, and I do have a weakness for creative men, or at least those who have an inclination and appreciation for creative activity. I consider men who are entrepreneurial or scientific to be creative as well. Myself, I have started many businesses - most have failed. I guess that's the way it is. However, I have had a few successes and have plans for some more. My most successful business so far has been the simplest, a dogsitting business. You'd be surprised. I also have a profession which I've practiced for many years, and that is as a freelance court reporter. It has taken me to many places and taught me many things. So, I'm a busy lady.
