Having always aspired to be on a dating service and get shot down by woman more than the libyian air-force, I joined. It all started in the 60's. I blame my mother and she never did drugs??? go figure. having said that I'm just your average jewish kid from Brooklyn. As long as your definition of average is tall and mechanical.I'm in pretty good shape for an old man. That's to say I can get in and out of the golf cart without hurting myself. I recently moved to downtown Stamford, no not from Bklyn anymore! I relocated back from south Florida a couple of years ago when I discovered Leisure Ville! I thought I was looking for Margarita Ville ! Guess I got lost! so I'm back in a more civilized place.... My last visit to Bklyn was to say the least a reminder that you can't go home. I saw the tree, heard the bird and the kids in the park holding hands.....up .Well anyway here I am still trying to slow life down a bit I'm an excellent cook and can do laundry and even know how to separate colors from whites, also i know my sheets thread count which may even qualify me as metrosexual. i have had an exciting and varied life. I earned a Master of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Moved to Greenwich in 1970 where I maintained a practice for 25 years. Worked for two New York firms for 10 years and I am now consulting for own account. I am adventurous...but not excessively so ...never have a bad day (never? well hardly ever).

My professional life is satisfying ... my personal life needs someone to share movies, concerts (love chamber music, symphonies and blue grass)and MOMA where I maintain a membership...love tennis as both a player (not so much recently) and spectator. Read mostly non fiction (Time Love and Memory by Johnathan Weiner) Enjoy spectator politics...maintain frequent contacts with my two children (both in Colorado where my grandsons Jake (3 months) and Connor James (3 years)also live). Also have a grand daugter who dances with Alvin Ailey..sometimes.

Back in the early 1950's, my family settled in New Canaan, Connecticut, where I had the privilege to grow up. I graduated from the University of Denver in 1970 and enjoyed a career in sales and marketing. I was married for 23 years and have a terrific daughter who's now 29 years old. My interests include golf, politics, cosmology, science, reason, history, cinema and music (I get a great deal of enjoyment playing my Martin 12 string guitar). My higher power is truth. Reality is awesome and I want to learn as much as I can. I believe the "reason" for life is simply that we're matter evolved to consciousness (the greatest show on earth) and that we're lucky as hell to have an opportunity to use our 5 senses and our intellects and experience the magic of life. I take nothing for granted and I realize that I neither deserve nor am I entitled to anything whatsoever. I'm a firm believer in "gratitude power." Seems to me there's two ways to look at things; 1.) As they really are, and 2.) The way I'd like them to be. I'll take option #1. I'm prepared to accept the truth no matter where it takes me.

At our age, we have all "been there, done that"...divorce, hurt, drama, unhappiness. Life is too damn short to dwell in the past. Doesn't anyone want to have fun, find a best friend to love and care about, be able to trust again and communicate, agree to disagree, and have some peace and happiness?? And of course, explore the wonderful world of passion.Passion will flow once everything else falls into place.It takes an email, then a phone call and then that wonderful first meeting. All that starts the spark and when you finally meet and look into that person's eyes, well, the chain of combustion should start! I am looking for someone who is honest, fun, trustworthy, communicative and of course passionate! I mean, isn't everyone??

I am very proud of my 3 fantastic kids! Family is very important to me. I have a great job and life is good. The most current "man" in my life is my beautiful year old Australian Shepherd, Jethro. A former travel agent, I would love to take someone special to my island in the sun, Jamaica and it can't get it any better than being on the back of a Harley hugging the one you love. I am very low maintenance and In my book, it is the thought that counts.
