I consider myself a nice person that respect others opinions. I Zumba twice a week, like to take long walks, bicycle riding, fishing, dancing, etc.

I’ve worked hard all of my life and am ready to enjoy and kick back a little. Not quite retire yet, but slow down and smell a few more roses. I would love to have someone to share all the wonderful things that life has to offer with. Due to my profession, I have had the opportunity to spend lots of time with younger folks and enjoy their enthusiasm. I have chaperoned on a few study abroads and field trips and my experiences have been truly rewarding. Other than that, I have traveled a lot for conferences and for fun. The only place that I have still not been and is on my bucket list are the Greek Isles.

I am educated, well read and interested in what’s going on in the world. I have opinions, but I’m not pig-headed (you shouldn’t be either) and am always willing to listen to the other side. I do not, however, tolerate bigotry and other hateful attitudes. I have a REALLY silly side as well– I love comedy, the Real Housewives of Everywhere and spending time with my pets. I have two rescue pets who absolutely run my house – thank goodness they let me live there!

I just started taking dancing lessons (Latin). I feel a bit foolish, but enjoy it – I just need to get over being self conscious, I guess.
