I recently relocated to Kissimmee, Florida from the northeast. However, I am originally from Bartow, Florida and I returned to my home state. I attended undergraduate college and law school in the state of Connecticut.

I've tried corporate america for a number of years and at 50 decided it was no longer for me!!! Returned to FL and went to work with some of my former employees as a server/bartender at Fulton's Crab House located in Downtown Disney and have loved life ever since....

I am fairly easy going and try to be as well-rounded as possible. But I would rather listen to someone else talk since I learn more that way. I am low-key and try to take a long-term view of things. Have been with the same doctor's office for 37 years, same dentist's office for 33 years and the same bank for 36 years. Those are business relationships, though. Even better would be to be married for a similiar length of time or hopefully longer. I Try to buy products made in the USA to help our economy. Although I listed myself as middle of the road , I am basically idealistic. I believe the environment should be proteced. I am open to dating someone of any reasonable political persausion ( liberal, middle of the road, or conservative). After all isn't romance more important ? Although I am Protestant I am open to dating someone who is Catholic. Enjoy volunteering and try to do it once a month if not more often. Donate blood to help out the community. I enjoy reading newspapers as well as books about history. I enjoy playing tennis, bicycling, bowling, and some golf. I have a desk job which I enjoy and have been with the company for over 11 years now. Have only missed 1 day of work in that time ( to put my cat to sleep. )

UPDATE 2/5/13...Changed my location from WA to Central Florida. Warm weather, sunshine and beaches are calling. Will be making my move by summer when I decide on my destination.


I am a retired widow who enjoys travel in the US, globetrotting or romantic trips to nowhere, cruises, beaches anywhere, sun, tropics, live music, sporting events, animals, dining in/out with a glass of wine, cooking but not for one, theater, being active outdoors camping, hiking or cycling. I am ready to try new things-learning to play golf or photography and revisiting things I haven't done in a long time like horseback riding, bowling or dancing. Originally, I'm from Palm Beach County.
I grew up with coconut palm trees and sand in my shoes.
Finally retired, I can now do what I want, go where I want, and when I want... Sweet.
I love the beach, hunting seashells, and especially enjoy the coconut palm trees.
I enjoy taking my two dogs to the off leash dog park to socialize and play with their friends at least once a week. I also enjoy browsing thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets. Especially the "old time" flea markets.
I enjoy going to Univeral Islands of adventure, ride the roller coasters and other fun rides. I enjoy going to theme parks in general, movies, and other similar entertainment, but it's no fun alone.
I also enjoy puttering around in the yard and garden or small home improvement projects.

I have worked in education with special needs children from K-5. Also worked at an accounting firm before moving to Florida. .
