I have been retire since 2007 and lived in Mexico for awhile and had a great time I'm now living in Hawaii. I am in good health, my money is in good health but have not been involved for several years now and would like that to change.

Although I work seven days a week, what? I will make time for the right person. In the beginning you will have to be patient in pinpointing a time to talk or meet. I won't lie that I need company, so if there's chemistry, you won't have to wait too long. A friend and more is what I'm looking for.

I am a former musician. I still play but not pro. For some weird reason I like otters. They frolic and have fun. I have some strange hobbies. for the last year I have been trying to teach penguins to play the flute. As it turns out they do not have lips and this endeavor has proved to be futile. I also tried to teach chickens to speak Chinese, once again I failed. It was not my fault, it turns out the chickens owned a pizza franchise and they refused to speak the language of communists. my dad claims he is not a racist because he hates everyone equally. I love to make people laugh.I grew up on a horse ranch. I have had pet snakes, rats, tarantulas , mice, dogs, cats, midgets(not really and I know they like to be called little people.) I play several instruments. I am easy to talk to and I listen. I like the simple things in life. You know, playing chess under water, smashing atoms with a hammer (it is very difficult to get the hammer up to near light speed.)torturing people by making them watch old reruns of 30 something and whats her face medicine woman. I myself love to laugh. I love stand up comedy. I like to take walks and play chicken with the drivers on cell phones. Life is as real as you make it.

I am "semi-retired:only doing what is fun". Work sends me to Japan twice a year. I love to laugh, explore, and travel. I am spiritual--the key to peace and happiness. They are my precious gems in my life and had put all my time in taking care of them ever since my divorce 25 years ago. Now my daughter has a PH.D. in Biology, and my son is an Airplane Mechanic...it is time for me to look and search for my own happiness.

Let's face it. Most invitations to date are pretty bland. Of course, you would want to be around gentle, sporty types with few rough edges? Well, my quarter century living on three continents as part of the Foreign Service has given me a slightly different perspective. Taking big leaps really makes life liveable. That includes being one's quirky but loveable self, taking occassional calculated risks and following intellectual interests off the well beaten path. Not only do I often tell stories about adventurs as a roving Foreign Service electronics officer and administrator, but also have a fascination for historical places, such as the Austro Hungarian empire, somewhat removed from present day reality. An idiosyncratic philosophy of life must also be accepted as a result of my eclectic experiences.
