I'm 5' 8 -1/2"; 175#, retired but now working part time.
I have 3 grown children (ages are 41, 40, 28) and 9 grandchildren.

Recently retired Educational Technology/computer support field as a teacher and independent contractor. Was in small business, travel, and public education. JOIN ME IN THE DANCE OF LIFE: I am carefree and adventuresome with a serious side. My travels include, EUROPE, ASIA, MALAYSIA, MICRONESIA, OCEANIA, BURMUDA, AMERICAN SAMOA, ALASKA and many parts of the United States. I want to see and experience more of the world. I want to tour Imperial China and the Yangtze, or take the Trans-Siberian Express, crossing two continents and linking the capital cities of two of the world's largest countries and to enjoy once again the wonderful cities of New York, California, and Nevada. I want to find a like-spirited companion for these adventures.

Highlights of my travels include: Scuba diving in Trujk, Ponape, Palau, Saipan , Guam. and Australia, shopping at Harrod's in London, touring castles, churches, museums and wine vineyards in France, Spain and Italy, sailing my 35 ft. Columbia yacht in Guam and sailing and inter-island racing in Hawaii.

I have earned a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology and work as a Clinical Social Worker providing therapeutic services to children with emotional disabilities.

I was raised in Illinois and dreamed of living in Hawaii. Eventually we moved to San Jose, California and I loved it there. Two years later I brought my young son and baby daughter to Hawaii. It's been more than a challenge to live here all these years but the weather is beautiful every day.

I have a sense of humor, I try to be positive, I'm a good friend, artistic/creative, a great listener and a compassionate person. Can be very silly and/or shy sometimes. Outgoing, adventurous or reserved. I love the arts, music, dancing, taking photos and making/saving/sharing music videos on Youtube. I love nature, animals and the ocean. I'm just a local guy who works every day (self employed commercial artist) and need to take a break ('get a life' as my son reminds me) A 2nd amendment advocate, likes the outdoors and doing yard work(my son's home) Love my grand kids (3 girls) Love dogs, not a cat man. Sushi bar is favorite place to dine (on occasion, not every nite) Need to exercise more and lose 10lbs or more...try to walk Ala Moana and jump in the ocean every week. Bikini's are nice to look at (I'm an artist) but I'm a bit past that at my age.....Tattoo's are also nice but I don't have any...again, that's an appreciative artist talking.

I'm a laid back patient guy. I just retire in 2006 so I'm just traveling a little, playing tennis about 4 times a week and going to the beach to cool off. I'm more probably a listener than a talker so I guess that good for you, huh?

When I graduated Samurai school. I was only issued a short sword. What an incredible handicap; how does a noble warrior slay the beast of overwhelming lust and desire when inadequately armed? So I trained in solitude for many, many, years-long and hard. My skill developed slowly but surely. I developed patience and touch. My Kung Fu became very strong. Brimming with confidence, I threw my mawashi into the ring and entered the tournament of fair geishas called Match.com. Unfortunately, my confidence outstripped my common sense; without my mawashi I was dangerously exposed and both disqualified and ridiculed by the very fair damsels I sought to impress. Regardless, I managed to sufficiently impress one fair damsel into entering into holy matrimony with me. For a while, I was the happiest samurai on the planet. But my past caught up with me. In my enthusiasm, I failed to extinguish the life of excess or at least the signs of a life of excess. She used it as a weapon on me and without warning snuck out the door while I labored at gainful employment, caught a plane to the hinterlands and left me alone and empty. I am wounded now, but not mortally. I am not sure what I will do now but seppuku is not an option I am entertaining. I also d
