I'm a bundle of interesting contradictions. I'm a makeup artist, never married, who collects antiques, sings show tunes, likes ballroom dancing, loves the arts...and I'm straight! Go figure.... I'm a loyal friend, a great kisser, a clever conversationalist, a good joke teller, a patient listener, a creative thinker, a wannabe world traveler, and more. I love movies of all kinds, but particularly those with heart, soul, and intelligence. Thank God for TCM!. I also have always preferred easy jazz, beautiful singing, and the tunes of the Great American Songbook to rock/pop. I've recently dusted off my record player, and built a great collection of big band and jazz albums from bargain bins and flea markets. So call me old fashioned, because I have a taste for tasteful things, and an Old Soul's nostalgia for simpler, gentler times. I recently gave up chasing the film rainbow in L.A. to return home to Chicago. I'm a member of the Saints, the volunteer ushers for the performing arts, and attend a lot of local theater. I also spend about 5 days a month in NYC working with a doctor there doing permanent makeup. I guess there just aren't enough "D's" in ";A.D.D." for me! I need a good woman to settle me down....

Was in a relationship for 19 years prior to my partner's passing some years back. I work in social services, and I like to think of myself as caring and dedicated. I can be opinionated, but my life experiences have taught me the value of flexibility and resilience. I can be "sexy" - but I usually fall for what's "between a person's ears" first.
