I have been retired several years and like to stay around home quite a bit.Still enjoy going out for dinner some, Maybe a glass of wine now and then, however I am not a big drinker. i am a 49yr. i have two son a 25yr. and a 14yr. i have job that i have been at for 15yr i like to to go out to the movies and go out to eat and have fun

I am easy going, but have some buttons that can be pushed.

I consider myself successful, professionally at least, with a good education (Ph.D.) and a great job (university professor) that I love. All my four children are happily married with children of their own and I don’t have any pets anymore, which gives me enough freedom to enjoy life, even while holding a full time job.

I like the simple things in life. On a nice day, I prefer a hike or a walk by the lake rather than a day at the mall. And I much better prefer a night at a friendly ballroom dance studio rather than a visit to the bar. In fact, dancing has been my passion in the last year or two. I also like to travel as time permits, especially international travel or an occasional cruise. I have lived abroad in at least four other than the US countries. I have traveled extensively all over Europe, India, Egypt, Thailand (my favorite), Malaysia, Singapore, Costa Rica, Mexico, and more. My next travel will be to Europe, in the summer.

I am very health conscious. Exercise, eat well, have fun and I prefer that before a new relationship evolves into being intimate and without protection, both partners get tested (and pass the test). Transmitting a bug or whatever to a partner is not an act of love.
