I was born in 1962, the same year Del Shannon's "Runaway" was on the charts, and the last true year for rock and roll. I'm about six feet tall, 190 pounds, brown hair and intense brown eyes. As an unfortunate result of spending too much time in academic circles, I now have a professional degree and way too much knowledge about history and anthropology, which competes for the limited space in my brain with surf music charts and Battlestar Galactica trivia. However, at least I'm financially secure and reasonably successful. I'm of Italian descent, and I believe all of life's answers can be found in Godfather I and II, but probably not in III. When I'm depressed, I tend to listen to "Who's Next" and "Quadrophenia." Sometimes I imagine I'm Jimmy the Mod from Quadrophenia plunging over the White Cliffs of Dover, though I've yet to understand why that was a satisfactory conclusion to the story. I guess the same can be said of the forced ending of Godfather III, which makes absolutely no sense to me.
