My answers about growing up in Maine are not really accurate as my Dad was in the Navy and we moved around when I was young. I was born in Portland, ME and went to school in Brunswick until I was 10 and then we moved to VA and I lived there until I graduated from HS.

I am enjoying being semi retired. Family is important to me but since my grandchilden are all young adults it seems I don't see as much of them as when they were youger. love to travel, go to PGA tournaments, cruise, visit friends and family. I would like to find a companion to share the many wonderful years we have left on this earth.

I enjoy walking on the beach or through the woods. A nice glass of wine in front of a wood/gas fire with a companion to talk to/or cuddle with.

I love to travel to new places and really look forward to the day that I can do it more frequently. My youngest son attends college in Boston and I have come to love the Boston area. I'm a semi-retired health professional. That means I no longer am in the office 80+ hours a week. There is a wonderful, satisfying world out there and as I take more and more time away from the office, I am enjoying this new life. Finding the right person to share and explore with, would be ideal. My long term plan is complete retirement, summers in Maine and winters at my place on the Texas coast in Rockport- just minutes from Corpus. I like life and laughter. Don't you think they pretty much go together?! My days in the classroom provide both - lessons in living and joy in laughing. Time spent with my granddaughters and friends provides more of the same. I'm social but enjoy time alone, too, working in my gardens or exploring the woods or ocean beaches or lounging in the sun with a great book. I'm very active- always up for some new adventure and am involved in a singing group and some political work. I enjoy lively conversations, good wine, and figuring out what a day will be when it arrives!
