GGRINS, 67
I am a professor, researcher, social activist, and love my work. Being around students I feel quite young and continually challenged.
I love traveling and do so often. I have 4 older kids (21-31) and we're an extremely close family all in Massachusetts. I lost my wife to Leukemia but life is a challenge, full of opportunities and exciting. I am an optimist, living in the moment and enjoying all moments.
I am an avid and eclectic reader, reasonable skier, good kayaker. I love travel (second time I am saying this), like a wide variety of music both modern (including BEP) and classic (such as Mahler), lots of plays, the arts immensely (every visit to a city has visits to are museums), poetry, the beach, great restaurants, and going to the Celtics' games.
I am compassionate. I nurture my students (graduate) and players (coached soccer and basketball). I now play basketball, workout at the gym, have given up coaching, meditate often, practice yoga and still playing lacrosse.
I live in North Central MA and am moving to Boston (hence Boston).
