Thank you for stopping in to review my greeting. I am a retired public official who after a full career has found a second calling in teaching at the college level. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction with my students and very much look forward to providing them with any wisdom (lol) that I can offer. I have a son who is pre-teen. He is a wonderful young man and is by far the most significant part of my life. He visits and stays with me part-time. I am a passionate man who cares about others and particularly those close to me. Family is very important. I love sports (especially New England teams) and love to watch on tv or go to games. I love the summer, and lying by a pool or taking a trip to the beach for the day. I enjoy traveling , , , , and Florida when its cold here is great. I love Nantucket and have been every year in the summer for many many years. I enjoy dining out from the fancy elegant place to a pub where we can wear jeans and drink draft beers. Life is too short to be unhappy , , , , I'm looking for that feeling that we all know takes you and says yes , , this will be right. That can be immediate or take time. I lived most of my life in Rhode Island. I am confident and would want the woman in my life to have some of the same attributes but believe the diffierences give value to each others live's. I live each day to it's fullest and always fully present in the moment. A card, a gift, a kiss for no reason but to say I'm here an I care. A quite weekend at home, or weekend on Nantucket. As a PhD, I have had the good fortune to be associated with eight colleges and universities around the world. I am sensitive, caring and sincere. My experience, education and outlook, I believe, have prepared me to be someone's ideal confidante but, that is up to you to decide.
