Im a regular guy in search of someone to travel with me on lifes road. Im a retired firefighter and work as a RN in the operating room. I have a house in San Antonio and hope to retire there. The bank and I own a fixer upper here in MN. I like to stay active and I enjoy going out with my friends. I like to ride bicycle, motorcycle, go for walks (Im ten minutes from the Mississippi and the Coon Rapids Damm/park. I like being outside, fishing and sometime just having a drink on the deck watching the world go by. I have two girls who are grown and pretty much on their own. Im a honest person, I have a dry sense of humor, I appreciate humor, I like watching tv at times. I like doing a lot of different things and willing to try most things at least once. Just finished a Major downsize.Found out you do not need all the items you have had for 60 years.Feels good .But one thing still missing, Someone to share the later years. Love to ride, Long walks with the Dog, Work at Air Shows, Hang out in jeans and a T shirt, Boat, Camp and play with Bear, He is a handful. Ex NAVY and American Legion Commander. Very involved in helping out the American Legion Honor guard .

I'm very happy with my life. I have everything I need and probably more, but it would be nice to have a female friend to go out with and have some fun. I am a pretty easy going guy, I have lived through the good, the bad and the ugly, yet I still wake up every morning with a smile. I'm honest, trusting, love my family and my job. I never take life to seriously. I like to laugh and joke around, but I would not say that I'm the class clown. I enjoy spending time with my two boys when I can, as I don't see them as much as I would like now that they are older and have their own interest. I enjoy dinning out - music - traveling - fishing, watching football and most outdoor activities. When I do go out, it's to a nice restaurant, a ball game, a movie, maybe a few drinks at my favorite watering hole or just a walk by the river with my two dogs. I enjoy a good conversation and getting a little stupid at times. Hoping to find that someone that I can be myself with and they with me.

The world amuses me immensely. I enjoy watching what is happening around me, sometime learning from what I see, sometimes laughing.

I pride myself on being a considerate, honest and loyal person. My parents tried to teach that to me(of course I didn't see the value of it at the time of the lessons.) And like being treated the same. I'm pretty easygoing. And no, that doesn't mean I don't have any ambition. I just find it hard to be judgmental, or getting upset about things that you have no control over. It is really such a waste of time. I don't always act my age, but it hasn't led to any serious problems (yet!) I've become comfortable in my own skin, and have a good idea of what I want out of life. Not to say that didn't take more than a few years of adulthood. I also find it difficult to pretend that I know exactly how someone my age is supposed to act. But I act appropriately enough to be allowed out in public. People are usually surprised when I tell them my age, not necessarily because of that, moreso the mixed blessing of looking very young when I was young (late bloomer, I didn't reach my height until I was 26).

To feel heaven as if we were there because that special someone is next to me and there's no other place I would rather be.
