I am a personal trainer. Have owned my own business for over 17 years, so I love staying active and being healthy.
I was married to the man of my dreams and lost him to cancer a year ago. Was not really planning on doing anything like this, but thought I would check it out. I am just looking for some adventure!
I am planning to relocate to a warmer climate, so not sure about this.

I am an energetic and active person. I am artsy, creative, and fun. I like to go on road trips, travel, golf, and so much more. I am a down to earth versatile person who can fish or don a dress and heels. I like to golf. I plan the important things in my life but also like to be spontaneous. Hello! I am getting closer to 60 years old faster than I thought. I have been divorced & a single mom, for several years. I work full-time in a medical field in Rochester. I have a great sense of humor and truly appreciate genuine expressions of kindness & caring. I am a non-smoker, and I enjoy a glass of wine a couple of nights a week.

Honest, straight forward, yet with respect....... I have gratefully received my share of messages ; I feel the above words describe how best to correspond in order to avoid receiving mesgs. stictly based on the visual (photos). Therefore, I shall begin by saying that the first section I read in a profile is the person’s listed religion. I wish the choice read.... Do you have a personal relationship with the one who is in control and whose love for you is greater and more real than you can ever experience with anyone here on earth? (I see my number of messages starting to decline, or not). Secondly, I check to see if the person prefers to smoke, because I am not a smoker. Additionally, photos, I believe are important and should be updated. It is disheartening and embarrassing, to meet someone in person whose appearance is unlike the photos they posted. We all age - some more gracefully than others, nothing wrong with that. About me....my photos actually speak volumes relative to what I value in life: my son, (family) friends, animals, and staying healthy. If I delve a bit more as to where the photos were taken and what the occasions were then you would know even more about me. I shall leave that for conversation.

Imagine yourself sitting in a comfy chair next to a campfire with your favorite beverage in your hand and me snuggled in front of you with your other arm around me. I have a beverage in my hand too and in the other I am roasting you a marshmallow for our s'mores. Earlier that afternoon, enjoyed gourmet beef stew (my own special recipe) in a cast iron dutch oven that cooked over the fire while we were gone swimming and fishing (not at the same time of course, that would scare the fish away). We’re sleeping in a tent (with an air mattress of course). I like to rough it somewhat while camping but not totally. We brought music with and are listening to our favorite music while staring into the fire. Or we could have quiet and conversation also, either one is very enjoyable, because we love talking to each other and enjoy laughing together a lot. If you don’t like camping, it could be in the back yard and you could sleep in our comfy bed. We'd be snuggling in two sleeping bags zipped together with the one you love (this could be you if you play your cards right and are lucky).

I have a positive outlook on life. I would like to enjoy life with someone special and experience all that life has to offer.

My passion in my life are my children. They have made me what I am today: strong, independant, believe that I can do anything I put my mind to and very proud to be a Mom.
I do enjoy the outdoors, especially the water. I am happier having a picnic by a lake than I am in a fancy restaurant. Instead of going to the bars, lets cuddle on the couch and watch a movie or take a walk on the beach. I am honest, faithful and would finally

Active, love to travel..enjoying my winter in Florida and watching the pelicans dive as I am looking out my window. Enjoy road trips and weekend getaways..enjoy simple pleasures, the sunrise and sunset a rainy day to read..a walk on the beach. Also enjoy movies and live theater and am an avid reader. Just finished my 11th book since arrive in Florida on 12/28..a mixture of non fiction and "beach reads". Have a European river cruise on my calendar in May. Love train travel too. Especially enjoyed a journey on the Rocky Mountineer a couple of years ago. Read travel magazines and brochures regularly to plan my next adventure, would be fun to find a compatible travel partner.

I feel blessed in life, whether I'm single or dating someone. I've been through some difficult times (as we all have) and I feel those experiences have allowed me to learn things about myself which in turn will help me be a better partner down the road.

I try to look for the beauty and the joy in life. Some of my favorit things:
Sunsets, a walk in the park, thunderstorms, kittens, a warm fire in the fireplace or a campfire, sitting in the silence and just being together. I love going to movies - romantic comedies, suspense or adventure are my favorite. Dinner out or dinner in - candle light with soft music. I enjoy teaching and crafts.
I am young at heart and take good care of myself - try to work out most days.
I enjoy good and honest communication without game playing or pretending. But, I do like to have fun and enjoy the outdoors, hiking, canoeing, rock hunting, travel, visiting new places. My interest in music varies - classic rock, oldies, pop and even meditation/healing music. When life gets hectic, I like to escape and have a bit of quiet down time at home or someplace in nature.
