I'm just a single guy that has been around the block in life, don't have any kids and I am looking to meet someone and enjoy the rest of my years with and be happy. Being that I don't have ties that bound me to a certain place in life, it is easy for me to go and be with whomever I was to meet without the hassle of or having to decide how we would be together. I smoke, and I see a lot of woman say they are non-smokers and that's cool, so if it's a problem, may as well pass me up. I plan on quitting someday, but i can't handle the woman that looks at me in disgust just cause I do. I'm a very sexual guy and a freak, so if your timid and your libido is gone, then I am not the one for you.
I'm a retired bad boy, and I have done a lot of things in life. I have stories about every situation you can imagine. But that is the past, and I don't live in the past. I have gone through some serious self-evaluation and realizations the last 5 years or so and after coming to understand what being 50 years old, never having had kids, having lived a wild lifestyle and I am in the latter part of life, I want to try a different way of living, a different kind of woman. a different way of looking and doing things.

I'm passionate about life...I love what I do for a living, I love my family & friends. I'm affectionate and socially outgoing. I love to laugh and I enjoy conversation with depth. I Hate this part....Camping, BBQ , sitting on porch watching the stars, walks on the beach or sitting on the beach watching the waves, I love campfires, Fishing, and almost all outdoor stuff. with that said I am a nurse and I work the night shift so it is hard to meet anyone but I am Hopeful.

Here I am at 53 years old (a very young 53 years may I add) never thinking that I would still be single, but I am. I have been divorced now for almost 22 years after being married for 10. I have met some really great women over those 22 years (ok, some not so great) but I obviously have not found the person that I would like to spend the rest of my life with. I know that no one is “baggage free” but I’m about as close to it as possible. No ex-wife in the picture and I’m not friends with any ex-girlfriend. I would say that I am easy going, have a pretty good sence of humor, not demanding, DO NOT PLAY GAMES OR DO DRAMA (EVER), honest, and believe in one on one relationships. Communications is one very important requirement for me. I have a very bad habit of spoiling the one I care for, but do not like to be taken advantage of! I did not post a photo because I do not believe that what is on the outside tells you much at all about someone, the inside is where the real person is. I have been single since 1985. So, I raised my 4-year old son who is now 33, engaged and living in California. I seldom dated because my son was very involved in school activities and my job ate up any extra time. (His dad did not enjoy the parenting role.)
I retired last year from a sales/marketing job with a health insurer in Cleveland. I moved to Columbia because i wanted a smaller community with a college for the arts and the fun of young people. I have two cats, named Tom and Jerry.
After 4 decades of working hard and giving my life to others, I now see that the world was meant for two people who adore one another in order to laugh and understand the value of supporting each other with life's ups and downs.
