FRIENDSHIP 101
Hello to my new friends. i know a Little about a lot of things..but not Enough about YOU :) i have not had this much fun since i spent those 3 consecutive years in 3rd grade!! LOL AND i am also young at heart..seems like only yesterday..when i cut myself shaving in 4th grade!! LOL

...and that is how a friendship begins, whether we "meet" on-line, at church, on a beach, at work, at school, maybe through our kids, or somewhere in life.You "simply" begin as friends as we all approach "a new journey, through a new "Portal in Time"

The only pet, i currently have is a "pet worm". "Brutus", and i keep him in the garden..LOL

As we all know, it is not that enjoyable to go down the path alone. Sometimes, we must "venture out"..and "Take the Road Less Traveled By." LIFE = RISK.

How about reading a book together and out loud to each other? :) How Romantic? Take each other's hearts to places beyond we ever imagined.
Currently pursuing a PhD at UNL EDAD....prisoner re-entry rebuild homes..reclaim their lives.. :)

Real down to earth guy, hard working, kind, honest, and of course, sense of humor. Have to have laughter.I enjoy fishing, walking my dogs in the park or on the trails, camping, bowling, biking roadtrips, etc.. Don't do much traveling other than the end of the year go to texas for a week to visit friends and relax. Would like to do more traveling more so the east coast and possibly one day Ireland.I mean I am going!

Some of my traits(well)are, trying to make a good impression (always); never settling for less in life; keeping my goals ahead of me; I work hard to play hard later; self motivated personality; never beating around the bush on serious issues; adventure seeking; believes there’s a give and take in every aspect of life; always finding the positives in negative situations. Im not so much of setting around at home, I like going out on the town and having fun with friends. Don’t get me wrong I am a movie buff and sometimes like just setting around watching them if theres nothing better to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning, and then plan the rest of my day. I dont mind going out dining, but I do love to cook. So every chance I get, I try my hand in the kitchen. For healthy activities, I like playing basketball or biking and, amongst other activities like dancing is my fave :). I can be persuaded to do almost anything adventurous, lol... I am a laugh out loud type of person and an occasional chuckle if hiding my laughter trying not to embarrass someone, lol... but if that loudness is embarrassing to you, I promise I will apologize later, lol....

I've been a school teacher & school administrator for 18 years. Before that I was an army officer for 11 years. I have two grown children and one grandchild. I like to stay current on the news, I majored in philosophy as an undergraduate and I played college football in the 1970s. My masters degree is in history and I taught college history before becoming a public school teacher. Digital photogrophy is a hobby of mine. I like bicyling, playing basketball, golfing, and I love to disc golf for fun & exercise. I like craft beers, irish whisky and some wines. I like coffee. Following sporting events can be fun as can yard sales and garage sales. Museums and learning are important. I like outdoor and indoor summer concerts. Musical tastes tend toward CSN, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and Jackson Browne. Neil Young is a personal hero.

My friends would say I am a very dependable, honest and friendly person. My careers have required a high degree of integrity along with my family values. I enjoy my family and spend a lot of time equally with my three grand kids and my 94 year-old mother. Longevity runs in my family.
I have taken great effort to preserve my health and my time in the military required that. Biking, gym time and many outdoor activities encompass my life. I have been fortunate to learn and inherit many talents to include, teaching, counseling and financial management. From my dad, the carpenter, many handy home skills. I find working with my hands both challenging and relaxing. Stain glass is one of my hobbies.

Family is important. I love to travel and they live in 5 cities including here. I love to entertain. Love to try new thing and places.

I am someone who likes to be active. I retired at the end of 2009 after over 40 years in Information Technology so I will be free to venture about. I keep very fit and would like someone with that as a common interest. People tell me that I look and act much younger than my actual age. I am both easy going and easy to get along with. My politics are progressive and important. I enjoy lively conversation, am very open in my communications, indeed, transparency is a must. I like to try new things and enjoy a wide variety of foods. I have travelled extensively and enjoy travel very much. I am equally at ease visiting large cities or touring National Parks, for instance.

I like to work out several times a week, including riding my bicycle when weather permits. I enjoy all of the usual things like dining out, taking in a movie or live performances, going to our zoo or watching Husker games. I rarely drink unless it is in a social setting where my tastes are beer or fine wine. Photography is a fairly serious hobby.

I am also looking to relocate to a warmer climate.

My passions in life Is to do fun things. I love sporting events, concerts, great restaurants and funny movies. I am a great partner because I treat a lady with great respect like opening doors for her and helping her with her coat. I am a great listener and am easy to talk to.

Too many interests to list. Writing music, photography, cooking are just a few. I love being outside and stargazing at night. I do have a quirky sense of humor! Water skiing is my favorite sport!

Have been told I have a good heart and am a good listener. Somewhat independant so I don't need to be joined at the hip but enjoy together time while doing nothing or going out on the town.
My interests are many which include bowling, golf, darts, football, traveling (warm spots in the winter)
working in the yard or just relaxing with friends. Like dogs and children and they seem to like me. Fairly open minded and understanding.

My ex mother-in law best decribed me as the "Saint Bernard". I am loyal to a fault and always thought I'd be married for life.

I don't lose my temper and have been working as long as I can remember.

I have spent a long time married, it has been hard for me to be alone although i believe I am stronger for it.

I am a tender and caring Man and can be emotional at some situations. I am a tall man (6"5') and I am looking for my soul mate, I will know when I find her.
I am not in the best shape I have ever been in but I am on the road to returning there. A person who is active and likes to be healthy is the best choice for me as I am a person who's total focus is on my mate.
I am not perfect but I am totally honest and believe it is required for a successful relationship to thrive. Honesty and trustworthyness.

I am an RN, work in sales and love what I do!! I am active with my friends and family. I work out at a local gym. I enjoy traveling by plane, train or automobile! Being Nebraska born I love the plains but long for time in the mountains and by the ocean. I consider my self a spiritual person sometimes I enjoy church, sometimes not so much.... I am a cup half full kind of girl and have packed my baggage away as neatly as possible, though I must admit it is a valued part of who I am. I look forward to tomorrow and believe life is a great adventure!

I'm a hardworking person but I like to enjoy life as well. I try to treat people with respect and honor commitments no matter how large or small.

I consider myself as a woman who is ready to start the rest of her life. Have been in a holding pattern for the last several years. I love music, almost everything and in the past few years have enjoyed rock concerts with my family. Also enjoy a quite night at home after a stressful day at work. I enjoy reading and cooking as well as a great movie or comedy.

I am an ordinary person. I laugh at jokes and cry at sad movies or stories. I love my friends and family. Sunday Brunch with Mimosa's are the best. Ice cold tomato beers when watching a football game is a must. I love sunny days, America, apple pie and vanilla ice cream. I'm OK being alone but want to be more than OK. Charlie (my dog) and I are ok with finishing each others sentences but hey, we live together..sometimes he takes Me for walks on a leash. Bottom line..I'm just an average girl looking for an average guy...
