Fairly new to Omaha, I’m a Free Spirit who loves nature & the outdoors (mostly swimming, camping & nature hikes). I’ve lived a fairly Spiritual life, in some of the most remote and beautiful communities of California, enjoying my growth and evolution. This is the 1st time I’ve lived in a city in over 10 years, so still adjusting. I’ve had only 1 child & moved to Omaha to be close to my daughter & her family. My grandkids are my joys, these days. I also enjoy playing meditative music (flutes, drums, chimes, etc.), I prefer to play from my heart. Dancing is a moving meditation that brings me much pleasure, which I would like to do more, with the right person.

I’ve been single for close to 20 years (in some great relationships, nothing lasting). So I’m comfortable & enjoy my alone time. At the same time, I enjoy sharing my space with like-minded/open-minded individuals. I’m fortunate enough to have a job, involving technology sales, that allows me to work from home & I have been doing this for close to 10 years. It keeps me balanced. I’m also into health, however don’t follow it as religiously as I feel I should. I enjoy those things that keep me positive and at peace with myself. I'm a 29% Scorpio, so very passionate about life.

I am a very careing person, totally honest, very fun loving, I like most entertainment events, locally and out of town including local summer county fairs. I like to travel to other cities around the country and have been to all of the 50 states partly through business and partly through pleasure. Being self employed I work a fair amount out of the home as I have for the last 25 years, but thanks to the cell phone I am free to leave anytime. Have been succesful over the years and looking to finding a sole mate to spend time and resources on. Enjoy work enough to not even think of total retirement. I was happily married for nearly 20 years,
but my wife died three years ago after a
long illness. I'm getting used to living alone again, but would like to find a woman/women to become friends with, go out to dinner with,
and if romance should happen that would be a nice extra!
I'm pretty easy going, and have a good
sense of humor. I'm much more other-
people oriented than self centered, and
I've been told I am quite thoughtful. These are qualities I would hope to also find in a woman.
I am an optimist (guess I wouldn't be doing this if I weren't, right?).
I don't like to see people dwell on the negative, or complain all the time. I am really turned off by judgemental people and people who are intolerant.
I like to eat out, and go to the movies, of course with buttered popcorn! I should warn you not to expect to get me out on the dance floor, and I don't do camping, fishing or hunting.

Have been married and divorced several times and that confuses me? I believe I am more than a reasonably good man, fun loving, no bad habits kinda guy, maybe a hopeless romantic? Socially party trained and I don't smoke. I do love
good music, really enjoy dancing and cutting up a little? Heavy Passion is not a
big big issue with me but it's there.

I am a Christian and attend Church but not what you could call religious. Serious? YES! I sail boats, fly, play some piano and enjoy life. I am reasonably active and
enjoy in and out doors. Like to complete projects, enjoy some hobbies mostly using my hands to build or repair. Good with tools and crafts. Have fun tinkering and futzing around with mechanical stuff. Model airplanes and flying is special fun for me.
Computer and state of the art stuff is really fun for me also. Spend some time on my
computer and keeping in touch with family and friends.

I am caring, fun-loving, enthusiastic, optimistic, and have a strong sense of humor. I love wearing blue jeans with heels, I love all types of music, and my favorite color is red.
Remember our journey has only just begun and we will make a few mistakes along the way hopefully we will learn from them. Talking is so important. I do not get mad very often and hope the person I meet will be the same. I realize that partners sometimes need to spend time alone, I am okay with this. I would not want to change the person I am with or be upset when he wants to spend time with his friends.
Life is too short for regrets. I do not regret anything that has happened in my past. The past is what makes me the strong, intelligent and loving person that I am today. I want to live life and be happy. I love making other people happy. I do not believe in fighting I think if two people are open with each other a calm resolution can be found. I do realize that we will disagree, but that's ok, that is even healthy. You have your right to your opinion and so do I. We can disagree but that doesn’t mean we have to fight! That just makes us individuals. We should not be clones of each but individuals who are able to carry on a strong debate.

I am looking to go out and enjoy the Omaha area and all it has to offer. Dancing, golf, outdoor activities and making home cooked meals with someone to share it with.

Would like to find that spark or tingle that feeling you get just from the anticipation of seeing them, hearing their voice or even getting a funny text that makes you smile, feeling the warmth spread all the way from your cheeks to your toes! A reliable, funny, strong man who likes who he sees looking back at him from the mirror every morning...who can hold an intelligent conversation and yet also be patient enough to listen to a child try to tell them a joke. Laughing is important too, not at another's expense but at the way life can go awry and you can either be mad or look at the funny side of it and if you can not find one know how to deal with it or be man enough to ask for help

A big fan of the arts. Enjoy HGTV and the Food Network (Chefs: Robert Irvine and Anne Burrell) my favorites. Would love to go on the Food Network cruise and cook, as well as enjoy the various cuisines. Would love to experience with someone who has the same interest. (Sorry, working on getting a photo) I don't have any of myself.

Have to have laughter.I enjoy fishing, walking my dogs in the park or on the trails, camping, bowling, biking roadtrips, etc.. Don't do much traveling other than the end of the year go to texas for a week to visit friends and relax. At the stage of life where it's time to work less and enjoy life more. Doesn't take much to amuse me, a good concert, a good book or movie, or a quiet evening is fine. Feel a lot more comfortable with a beer in my hand at a blues bar than a glass of wine in a tie at a banquet! Love a weekend at a lake cabin, or sitting in a lawn chair on the beach. Love to fish, auto races, checking out neat little towns. I believe there is a cool place to see in every state!
