I am retired and active. I wore a beard for over twenty years while living in Alaska and I hate to completely shave it off but I do trim it every week now. I also like to shave my head, habit for which I took on also when I lived in Alaska. I travel occasionally. Love to walk with my dog, attend movies, plays, and musicals. I’m not ostentatious, with no need to impress, I own my home in a wonderful over 55 community, and my 9 year old SUV without encumbrance. Yet, I like nice things. I prefer to wear Tommy Bahamas relaxed cargo shorts in the summer and with my Mephisto sandals, but will dress on special occasions; however, I am always dressed appropriately for all occasions.
I like to watch football. I like a few college teams such as UCLA, Alabama, and Notre Dame, and LSU. I’ll watch any NFL game with my favorite team being the Patriots because that’s where I was born and raised. With that, you have to know my least favorite team is the NY Giants. I also like the San Francisco Forty-Niners and even the Cowboys, unless of course any of them are playing the Pats. I watch some basketball not every game. I like the Lakers, and am warming up to the Miami heat.
I am not ashamed to say I enjoy watching some evening TV; sitting on the sofa with my honey cuddling to such programs as The Voice, Castle, CSI, NCIS and its sister show, NCIS LA. I like Mad Men, some Science Fiction programs on, as well as some cable programs such as Suits, White Collar, and Covert Affairs. In the morning, it’s about CNBC and catching up with ESPN.
