I repatriated to Las Vegas 3 years ago after living in Beijing since 1999, where I established a private consulting practice in media & entertainment technology. Over the course of my professional life, great luck and good fortune afforded me the chance to visit four continents for both business & pleasure, enjoying cuisines & cultures along the way. Music has been my passion for over 40 years - from acoustic blues & country to electric jazz & rock to chamber music & symphony orchestras - while home entertainment is a hobby I indulge with enthusiasm. I fancy myself as competent in the kitchen, my reading habits range from business to thrillers and I've collected hundreds of feature films on DVD. My circle of friends (spread across the country, if not the world) consider me an informed conversationalist and ready to lend a helping hand when times get tough. My two sons are well on their way to productive careers in Ohio and we get together a couple of times a year to take in a baseball game or just catch up over dinner and drinks.
