Let me see what I can share with you.... besides my being a true and sincere animal lover; primarily of dogs and cats. Gardening has such great rewards, as I see it. Where else can you take your dinner vegetables from the vine, then onto your plate! Then hooking a fish on my line sends me into instant excitement! No matter how many times you get a "bite, " it has never gotten boring to me. I am a relatively simple person, just yearning to share life's experiences with another friend. I need to mention that while I don't consider it as a disability, I am dependant on oxygen. I spent many years dealing poker in a local "SMOKE FILLED" card room! I am very fortunate to be able to use a Liquid Oxygen which contains in a 5 lb pack wearable around my waist. While it does count me out when it comes to hiking mountains and running marathons, etc. For that, I am saddened, however it could be much worse, so I'm counting the blessing that I do have. Recently learned a surgery (knee) has NOT went as planned, and complications mean I need a lift in one shoe. OMG! This is fairly hard for me to see in "print, " however, I have to speak-out / up-front.... because I could not bear the embarrassment / disappointments otherwise, should you have any.
