Its definitely difficult trying to meet someone on the internet.. However, I have met some very nice people, yet not the right one for me. Its simple, I am a professional, who enjoys the beach, loves the boardwalk on a cold winter day, or on a late summer evening. I enjoy gardening, reading, the gym and teaching history in a middle school. My girls are all grown up and after raising them by myself, it is now my turn to enjoy the finer things in life.... This is the part that I don't like. Well I am not a player if I am with you I am with you. I am a bit old school open doors ect. With that said I do not control and love a strong woman who can take care of herself, but at times is wiling to show she is in need of support. I am not a smoker and only a social drinker. Sunday mass is a must and I try to hold to the values of my faith. A like animals and have 3 cats'. I find it hard to talk about me. My girls are 25 & 29 and are important to me. You know the father daughter thing. Okay more about me, I like the movies, music no rap or hip hop and do some reading. I think I am holding up good for someone 61. You can let me know. My pictures are only 1 to 2 years old. I don't remember getting this old. But, age is just a number right! Something else I like crazy fast roller coasters. Anything from 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds is for me. I am very romantic and like to hold hands and get or give a kiss for no reason, just because. Never had the chance to have a kiss on top of a ferris wheel. There is a little more to this book then the cover. Photography and I like to do puzzles. One more thing love football so if the game is on (Giants & jets ) you know were I will be.

Easy going, kind, caring. Raised in NJ but lived nearly 10 years in Europe.

My life revolves around family, friends and my business. Both my children are married, self relient and successful. I have a granddaughter who is the light of my life. Looking to eliminate the business part of my life, just don't know when. I love American History and going to historical places (can't get enough of Gettysburg). I have traveled extensively, mostly when I was younger. I want to drive cross country sooner than later, visit friends in Ohio, Indiana (my best friend), Illinois, Iowa (will see the actual Field of Dreams from a favorite movie), see Mount Rushmore, a close cousin in Denver, never been to Las Vegas, have a brother in San Diego. New Orleans, a cruise, a B&B in Cape May, see Jersey Boys (again), see more older singers while they can still carry a tune, more golf, all on my bucket list.

I am a hopefully romantic, optimistic woman who is looking for a man to become a friend, and willing to get to know me on that level first. I am young at heart, and enjoy a variety of activities and interests. Not a fitness nut, but I walk everyday, and swim daily in the summer, or whenever I am lucky enough to be near water. I am emotionally and financially secure, and am not looking for someone to pay my bills.
My dream is to go on an extended vacation to Italy and see everything there is to see. Cooking is a passion, as is reading, walking on the beach (in any season), antiquing, day trips to NYC, museums, Broadway, weekends in a cozy B&B in Cape May, or New Hope, dancing to the Oldies, and just enjoying the company of someone who appreciates the little things in life.

At This time in my life I just like to be with someone that really knows who and what they want from Life. Sure everyone wants that someone extra special, romance, travel, dining, the spark when one walks into the room. Who doesn't.
That Someone that has to have the same values in mind. Caring, affection, kindness, all go along way. This will make grounds for a special lasting relation. And in return, all the other things will just happen.

Life is to be enjoyed. There are so many wonderful things in our lives to just enjoy if only you take the time. Our children, the crisp air of Fall, the moon, surf breaking on the shore, the quiet lapping of waves of the bay, the birds calling to each other, so many things. Family, friends, money, career, pets, all the things that make one happy, that one enjoys are the fabric of life that keeps you warm on cool evenings. For me, each moment spent marveling at what life has to offer is a sparkling rare gem to be treasured. I have money and am quite secure, so I am not looking. I love my two children very much and continue to enjoy watching them grow and experience their world. It is a delight. I still work, have a very good job, fulfilling and interesting working with Architects in New York City. I have always had the ability to get along well with people who seem to find me easy to be with and easy to speak to, they even listen to what I have to say, a fact that to this day fills me with awe and surprise. lol
