My lovely, music filled, home is in the town of Amherst, a suburb of Buffalo.. I am retired from the industrial construction business, was born in Buffalo, grew up in the northern suburbs, educated here, traveled a fair amount, both for business and pleasure and never relocated, out of necessity or choice. The proximity of lakes, rivers, Niagara Falls, rolling hills and wine country, plus an easy-going live style have been a strong influence in keeping me here.

Have always been pro-active/health-consious.Except for my nemesis Arthur(itis), which I keep reasonably under control, I have no health issues. And I do get a fair amount of exercise. Last but not least, I am told I have longevity. I am just a fun loving guy looking for a fun loving lady.

Smoking? Tried it briefly one summer while working in a gas station between my junior and senior years. Camel cigarettes and, oh yes, beer after work. Felt terrible in the mornings; blamed it on the cigarettes and have not touched one since. Beer has long since given way to the finer things in life, in moderation.

Interests? To name a few- music, travel, golf, photography, football on TV, and the most important - quiet times with the last love of my life (are you the one?)

I am fun loving, but can also be serious when I need to be. My family and friends are a very important part of my life. I love all kinds of animals, don't tolerate anyone that can harm one. I work in health care , which apparently, some people find offensive, although I don't know why. My friends say I am always smiling and happy. I am not a drama queen, life is too short to sweat the small stuff!

I consider myself to be a kind, outgoing, caring, inquisitive, well-educated, independent , patriotic, up-beat and unique woman with diverse interests and a good sense of humor.(These are just a few of my "good" traits - the "bad" ones you'll have to find for yourself). I've put myself on "hold" while working, raising 2 children, taking care of "business", family, friends and pets. My house has made me into a DIY Diva and my interest in (the Arts)-painting has been confined to walls :), hopefully only for the time being. I'm cautiously getting off "hold"and hoping to ultimately meet that special someone to share the rest of my life and love with. I have been on this site for a little while now & will try to update my pictures shortly. I have honestly not been able to put as much effort into meeting someone as I would like because of family obligations. In the past year and a half or so, I married off one of my daughters, had a full knee replacement, took care of my elderly mother, who also had a knee replacement and have been blessed with my first grandchild. So, as you can see I have been very busy. Still hoping to meet Mr. Wonderful .
