About me and who I am looking for:

I am fun loving with diverse interests but especially enjoy nature, reading, music and travel. Entertaining family and friends in my home is something I like to do. Informal gatherings, pot luck dinners, picnics are great. Also like to go out, try a new restaurant, do volunteer work, listen to a lecture, go to the museums, see a good movie- I am happy doing just about anything, am rarely bored. I like to sit by the fire, have a glass of wine, listen to music and talk and laugh with someone special. I am a romantic and affectionate person looking for a meaningful relationship-starting with chemistry, sharing mutual interests and seeing if friendship and love develop.

I like to get my hands dirty in the yard and clean up and go out to dinner. I love movies on the couch with someone I can put my head on his lap or visa versa. I am up to doing just about anything maybe not skydiving anything within reason. Outdoors or indoors it's fine with me. I am family orientated but it's ok to be on my own too.

I have a big heart and a lot to give. I love to travel, work in the yard, read, cook, & garden. I love to hold hands and experience new adventures. I want to enjoy life to the fullest with someone and laugh. I have one son (25) and he is doing very well for himself. I have a beagle named T-Bone who is the sweetest thing to come home to.

Like movies, plays, concerts, amusement parks, shopping, dining out, etc. Like various music such as ole school music or oldie goldies, gospel, some r&b, and jazz. I love nature in every phase. I enjoy all 4 seasons. In the past I threw reason to the wind an lived in Aspen, skiing every day. I've worked on a Shrimp boat in Alaska harvesting ribbon kelp with herring roe on it. I'm not a vegatarian, ' do imbibe on the occasional glass of spirits, Broadway shows were once my passion - I;d enjoy a person who also loves the arts., and the peacefulness of unspoiled wilderness - at least far from the traffic and roar of people! I am an animal lover, and like to live a 'green' lifestyle.

I am retired from banking and office management.My love now is working in my flower and vegetable gardens.There is such joy in seeing something start from seed into beautiful flowers and vegetables.Also I love to go to Las Vegas every few years to see old friends I had when I lived there in the '80's and worked at Nevada State Bank.There are a lot of good people there, it's not all glitz and glamour and I loved it but my family was here.I love to visit my brother and his wife who live near the Asheboro Zoo.I also love to go boating and fishing, havenot done either in years but would love to do both.

I am still in corporate America for a few more years, unless I find a good reason to leave, and work at a major pharmaceutical company in RTP. I have a Jack Russell, good friends, and a wonderful family including my first and only grandson.
